Ответить1st thing is: be interest in EDM music?!
ОтветитьThe most american video i've ever seen hahaha
Ответитьbruh
ОтветитьI feel like raves are an introvert’s version of hell🙃🙃
ОтветитьI have social anxiety and im eccentric ☹️
Ответитьtip number 9: Do drugs! lots of drugs
ОтветитьThank u for the info I like the way u explain the stuff
ОтветитьIs he gei?
Ответитьu Americans are so fruity
ОтветитьThe totem is a great idea I’ve never thought of
ОтветитьYou look like what we called back in the day " pre 2000" a Kandy raver. All that's missing is your pacifier .
ОтветитьAmazing Content 🍄🌟
ОтветитьWhen I went to tomorrowland in Belgium back in 2019 I didnt see this kandi exchange culture. Is this more of an American music festival thing?
ОтветитьMy mans hands have no circulation
ОтветитьI suggest you add electrolytes of some sort if you're hot, sweating and dancing your face off.
ОтветитьI used to go all the time and now I haven’t been to one in year and I’m going TONIGHT to see Dillon Francis and Valentino Khan and this video helped me out. I have Schizotypal Personality Disorder and five other mental illnesses,, and I’m real nervous because I’m socially stunted (especially post covid). This video comforted and eased my mind and helped me remember all the glorious moments I had in the past at raves. Thank you for this kind video 🥰
Ответитьedc 2022 wya
Ответитьwhere zyzz dance
ОтветитьI'm only 13 and already daydream about my first rave LOL. My only concern is the noise. Would you have to wear earplugs to protect your hearing, or is the music not that extreme? I live for the bass, so I hope it is!!
ОтветитьAgree with most of this, but some are just not realisitic.
1) Meet up points rarely work. Nearly everyone in your group will be on different vibes at some point in the rave and when your under the influence, time is irrelevant. If you plan on seeing the same set, it can work, but even then sometimes its too hard with the crowd and cell reception, so you just gotta find any avilable spot for the set
2) Yes friends are nice, but dont be afraid to go off on your own adventure. Be in the moment. Meet new people and explore. If theres a dj you want to see that no one else does, be bold and go see that dj yourself. You can worry about meeting up later.
I was an aussie livingin SF for work when I found this subculture (to me at least) in 2015. Everyone was so awesome, welcomed me in and i still have candy from my very first random night. PLUR everyone! It's such great experience that will make you want to come back for more! xoxo
ОтветитьI went to my first festival a few months ago and immediately fell in love with the culture and atmosphere, I think it’s beautiful that strangers can care for one another and be accepting and inclusive. It’s a very unique atmosphere, I love it
ОтветитьPlan things out ahead? By the time the acid or molly drops, that schedule is out the window faster than strategy during a Russian invasion...we try so often...
Been raving for about 20 years, underground raves, small raves, local clubs or big commercial events, I've done m all.
All you really need is a water bottle and a charged phone anything else can be arranged on location. How often i've lost mates(toilet/beer run) or completely spaced out at the wrong stage...uncountable XD
I've never not met up with the group afterwards though, when some people didnt return we texted toncheck if they're ok and went on our ways.
Wow there’s so much that I didn’t know about raving, thank you for educating me!
ОтветитьDude where can I get that extendable pole!
Ответитьmy european ass dies watching this
ОтветитьSo im a straight edge Metalhead and going to my very first rave this summer! My long time friend is a hardcore rave goer and he goes with his volleyball team. He asked me to come and its to help me get out of my bubble. Also, I had a rough last year due to breakup and passing of my loved one. So I have an idea how wild raves can get (drugs, hookups, etc. .. But how do I survive.. Being the only sober person?! I feel I will be so out of place. 😣
ОтветитьTip 1: Dont do anything this guy just said.
Kind regards,
-Europe
this was such an informative video!!! ive been wanting to go to a rave or festival (its on my bucket list) and this makes me really excited!!! <3 much loveeee
ОтветитьWhat do you do if you don’t have friends?
Ответитьyou forgot the drugs
ОтветитьGoing to my first rave later this month! Been listening to edm for years but never been to a festival/rave.
ОтветитьThanks for the tips. Headed for my first festival in August. Future Forest in New Brunswick
ОтветитьRaves seem so sick, I make Kandi (and have for quite a while) and I learned about raves from the Kandi community. The only thing is I’m really sensitive to flashing lights and loud noises, I wear ear plugs everyday cause the world is too loud for me. So if anyone has a suggestion on how I can go to a Rave and not get a headache that would be great!
ОтветитьThank you for the tips. I’ve always seen raves from blogs, I remember saying I think there’s a documentary on EDC Las Vegas I think it was 2013 or 2014 I forgot what it was but I think it was picked up by vice if I’m not mistaken. I forgot because it was many years ago when I saw the documentary I’m assuming it was. I’ve never been to a rave, but my best friend has(yet he forgets to invite me, but then again, we don’t talk that often, but he takes his other friends). Some kind of friend I have lol. Anyways, thanks for the tips now I just need to know when the best time to go will be how to afford it all. Oh and I’m 31 by the way, just to clarify.
Vlogs not blogs
And the most important rule of all. WATCH OUT for THIEVES. Yes the rave culture has symbolism resembling peace and love “plur” and shit like that. Which is very true there are tons of nice people …. But in the midst of that there are scumbags who actually have a business in going to these events and literally just stealing. They work in groups and WILL trick you. Be smart, stay hydrated, and always make sure you never have anything in your pockets. Keep things on a backpack with a lock or something you can wear over your chest to protect your belongings. Trust me.
ОтветитьI’m new to all of this! My question is how do u trade kandi without mixing it up & giving away kandi that you have received? I’m going to edc for the first time next year & im making Kandi for it! Nobody ever talks bout when u trade Kandi & it accidentally getting traded with the ones you received how can I avoid giving away the Kandi I received?
ОтветитьFestival production team: Hmmmm great tips now lets ban all these items from now on.
ОтветитьTip #1: Dont go to a rave.
Tip #2: Go to a rock concert, real music and talent
Going to attend Insomniac countdown NYE 2023 as my first rave. Thanks for the info!
ОтветитьGoing by myself. Wish me luck.
ОтветитьI’ve been going to raves and festivals for some time now and I always dress like the 80/90s ravers in Europe (bucket hat, shirt, and baggy pants). I always have sprouts and cool fake plants on my hat though
Ответитьbe with your friends... uhmm okaaay, bye bye T_T
ОтветитьI first started raving when I was 16. the whole time the mainstream whined and bitched about how horrible it was, the news would spin these stories about how only drug addicts and sexual deviants went to raves. the contrast was apparant as soon as I stepped in the door. I experienced a love and vibrance and belonging I never felt in the "real world" and never once did I see anyone rape anyone, prey on anyone or show any sign of racism homophobia or judgement. Than at around 26 I fell off. I got into meth and heroin and I spent all my time and money in horribly depressing situations with broken sometimes dangerous people and no longer achieving that zenith and ecstasy (pun intended) that I experienced when I was raving. I went from being in a beautiful counter culture space to shooting up heorin and meth in dirty trash strewn alleys. I am sober off meth and heroin and I wish so badly that I just stayed in the rave scene
ОтветитьThis is the video I watch for Bass Canyon every year! Don't forget to Bring a towel!!!
ОтветитьThis American EDM scene...what a joke that is. This guy should not be allowed to make comments about the history of rave culture
