when i was younger i used to go to turkish restaurants that did rice pudding for about 5 pounds for a not so big pot, i tried this and made a large amount and my family all shared it and absolutely loved it! :) easy recipe and pleased everybody (got lots of compliments on my cooking), they said it was even better than the shops + cheaper for larger amounts but p.s if it is taking long to work and foams up, don’t worry the same happened for me but in the end it worked!

i reccomend come to sprinkling some sugar + cinnamon powder on top!

i love creamed rice!

i divided by two the recipe and i still had a lot! It took 35min to cook. i added a little bit of milk, the rice absorbed it so it was creamier. I'll do it again :) also mine was 334 cals, so for the normal one ig it's 668cals.

Just made myself some tonight, brought me right back to my chidhood, and primary school! I used to have school dinners at primary school , the school dinners I got were amazing! Meat n veg or somtimes pizza if I remember correctly. Sponge and costard! or on occasion rice pudding for dessert! They used to fill me up for hours afterwards!

How much does is make? Was thinking this good be good for a soup Kitchen dessert! But without knowing how much this makes it would be hard to work out how much to double it by. It would have to feed at least 65 to 75 people. Thanks

All I use is milk cinnamon and condensed milk that’s it x

rice pudding ingredients:
180g washed rice
30g of sugar
410ml water
330ml milk
3g salt
30g butter

this kinda reminds me of danish rice porridge though the process is a bit different and we don't add sugar to the rice porridge but instead mix cinnamon and sugar and add butter on top

I just made this in a rice cooker and it's sooo good. I didn't put any butter tho, but it's still super creamy and rich. I used jasmine rice and it still worked out.
I cooked the rice first and put the milk and sugar afterwards.

I so I made your recipe tonight and I liked it a lot. I added a little more rice and cinnamon while it was still cooking and also I made a slurry to make it thicker. I am thrilled that your recipe puts everything in 1 pot. Thank you for sharing your recipe♥
