Does anyone know what baby carrier that is?
ОтветитьCan you share your favorite wool and fleece base layers for yourself and your kiddos? Striving to spend more time outside with my 18 month old this winter!
ОтветитьI see lots of resources for how to manage cold weather! Do you have any similar recommendations for how to handle heat and humidity (and bugs 🥴)? We try and get outside every day but it's so hot and humid here in FL (even in the winter) that it's a struggle.
I also gave up the 1000 Outside app — I didn't like the pressure of tracking and being glued to my phone so we just try and get out any chance we get 😊 With the heat and humidity it's often only for 30 mins but we try!
In Germany they say -there‘s no bad weather, just bad clothes“. It‘s a Running gag tho because we will complain about the weather anyways.
ОтветитьSuch an amazing backyard 🎉
ОтветитьDon't forget to look second hand! We have had such good luck with offer up/marketplace. Our climbing dome was $50 in great condition, playhouse $100, full size playset $600 never assembled (was perfect)
ОтветитьLooks amazing! Would love some indoor basement inspiration in a future video as your kids on swings indoors definitely got me inspired for these dark winter evenings! Maybe a video on screen free ideas for when it's dark at 4 😅
ОтветитьLove it!! You guys rocked it!!!
ОтветитьGoals 🙌
ОтветитьLove!!
ОтветитьWe also bought a tub at the MN State Fair and found out I was pregnant the next day 🤣
ОтветитьLove asking for group gifts!
But some of our relatives are not very keen on contributing to one large gift, and would rather keep giving things/ clothes/ toys we don't actually need or want
Love that this was over the course of 3 years in stead of an instant-unrealistic-for-the-majority-of-people backyard transformation! <3 I absolutely love it! Must be so rewarding to see the girls enjoy it! n_n
I also learned about this phrase when I went to study in Norway for a semester, as it is a nordic saying: there is no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing. I absolutely hated winters before I applied this and started taking cold plunges and showers. I have since then moved to Sweden from the Netherlands (where there are no real winters anymore) and loveee the winter time!
I wish we would have known about Domi before my husband built a wood pergola. You’re so right! “I’m a vampire. I need shade. Like I don’t get it.” 😂
ОтветитьFor gardening, start with what veggies your family already eats the most of! Don’t just get what other people do.
ОтветитьHiya! Could you tell about the metal pergola, does it get hot to touch in the sun?
ОтветитьEvery once in a while my mom would throw soap on our trampoline, then the sprinkler underneath. Super slippery! Never had any broken bones, and we didnt have a net lol!
ОтветитьWow to that pergola! We are in az and there is time that the sun is just blazing and bright and not very autism friendly. Im not talking heat, im talking light and i would love such a thing to expand our outdoor space.
ОтветитьLove the backyard! Such a dream🎉🎉
ОтветитьCheck out the square foot gardening book. That dude is on to something.
ОтветитьI finally got "there's no such thing as bad weather" from the library and started reading it and then you posted this! :) I felt trapped inside for 3 years because I thought I was stuck inside once it got too cold too. I feel like my world is opened up. One thing is that it will take a while to acquire the proper winter gear though.
ОтветитьIf you want to garden but are struggling with vegetables, plant fruit! My husband and I are terrible with plants, but we have a fig tree that is thriving and blueberry plants that are still growing into their full potential. I love that we don’t have to replant every spring, and every year they make more and more fruit. Highly recommend!
ОтветитьHave you ever considered Charolette Mason Schooling?
ОтветитьHa ha so it turns out Australians say Per-goal-a very differently
ОтветитьLove this! We have the same swing set and sometimes it needs to be tightened all over - the wind and play really wears it out. My very tall 50 lb kid still uses it! I would love to upgrade to a metal lifetime swing though.
Ответитьyou are the best!
ОтветитьRefreshing, thanks
Ответитьyour backyard set up is a dream ✨
ОтветитьGrip strength is linked to longevity ❤
ОтветитьYour backyard is my absolute dream! You can see the hard work!!
ОтветитьThat pergola is awesome! I love the shades and ability to close it off. And gutters?! Wish I would have known about this sooner!
ОтветитьGrip strength is associated with longevity. Maybe happiness too though lol
ОтветитьHey shayla, Mama of two little ones here, we also live in Minnesota. If you’d like help with gardening at all feel free to hit me up, I love to garden. I wanted to say Thank you for all the mom advice over the years on your channel. You have been such an inspiration.
ОтветитьI love it, trying to transform my backyard too
ОтветитьWhat baby carrier are you wearing? He looks so comfy!
ОтветитьFor the trampoline in the Netherlands we tend to dig the trampoline into the ground so kids (and pets) don’t crawl underneath when ppl are jumping and there’s less of a fall if you fall off the trampoline. So if you had safety concerns I’d reccomend bc it also looks cooler hahaha
ОтветитьBeautiful transformation! Thanks for letting us in.
ОтветитьSams club has swingsets for like 1,600! I'm hoping to get one in the next couple of years
ОтветитьI’m currently reading hunt gather parent because of your recommendation and IM LOVIN IT. I have a 2.5 year old, 1 year old, third baby coming early May ❤️
ОтветитьThe back yard set up looks stunning & very functional! I love it! ❤
ОтветитьThis is such an awesome concept! adaptable to changing weather conditions as well! NOICCEEE!
ОтветитьThis was awesome, my dad was also a contractor so I feel it in my blood that I just always want to build everything like they’re swingset and a little fence to keep them out of the raspberries cause ouch. I am super excited to start more projects next year when I’m not 10 months pregnant. 😂. Also, we grew up with a hot tub and just be careful with using it in the summer. My parents kept it at a cool temperature and we’re on top of the chemicals but me and my friends still get this little skin dermatitis called hot tub faniculitus (spellings off) that can be a little itchy! Also in MN 🫶
ОтветитьGosh 😍😍😍
ОтветитьGet the “ old fashioned swing set” lot less expensive.
