Spyderco Manix 2 - The Best Spyderco!

I own this knife and absolutely love it, which is amazing because I hate Spyderco knives usually. They have funny looking shapes because of the stupid hole they always put in their blades. I love the Manix 2 because the shape of the blade isn't as odd looking with the way the hole is placed on this model. Great knife. In fact I have the XL as well.

Do any of those fit okay in ridiculously tiny pockets that women have? Asking for my wife. If not, what would you recommend?

Use your thumb for the lock backs

Can you open them with the ball lock like you can with an axis lock? Just hold it open and drop the blade out?

Randomly watching old videos. I recently traded my s110v manix 2 lw and a raven 2 for a modified kizer sheepdog ti. Loved that manix but it was a tad too big and I never carried it. I miss it though.

If you were getting a new knife for daily use and the $200 price point was your max would you get the Manix 2 or the Benchmade Superfreek?

According to Blade HQ's testing, the ball bearing lock is actually stronger than the back lock.

I have 3 M-2's. my G-10's are a FFG & a Saber. My other is the Translucent Blue LW in BD-1 steel.

I alway love the stiffness of the lackback like the endura and delica

If the Shaman was out in 2018 I’d say that be my choice, The Spidey Chef next then the Manix 2 but I like the original Manix lockback better.

Just got my Manix 2 LW in all black last week, still trying to master the spidey-flick and drop-close. Now I want another Manix 2 and maybe the Yojimbo 2.

Don’t worry, the Spydie flick comes with practice. I’ve been able to flick the back locks but it’s probably not the best technique.

I have the Manix 2 with G10 handles and the CPM-S30V blade.

Kids with lots of money who fidget With their knives by opening and closing them 1000 times during every video which proves absolutely nothing, but never actually use them other than to cut paper.
