ОтветитьI'm from a Palestinian father and Egyptian mother
ОтветитьI believe that the most important thing that you did not discuss in your video, is Arabic Numerals. One cannot build a rocket to go to space, build a tower, make an amazing market, without using the Arabic numeral system. (btw I am not Arabic, and did you know that the Maya counted in 20s)
ОтветитьBut you are Lebanese which means you are Phoenician not Arab.
ОтветитьAfter watching the Arab Culture awareness course shared by my friend, it leads me to your video. I'm a Seventh Day Adventist Christian from the Island of Mindanao, a Muslim concentrated region in the Philippines. Many people think everyone in Mindanao are Muslim. 😂 I just moved here in Libya and experiencing Arabic cultures and receiving the warmness of the hospitality of the people. It's good to learn new culture.
Ответить👌❤❤❤ Love from Poland💕
ОтветитьInteresting video!
ОтветитьThanks for this. In solidarity.
ОтветитьI did know the thing about Algebra. My dad told me a long time ago. I said "well at least now i know who's to blame" lol 😝Personally i would love to try the different foods (especially deserts) from all of the different Arabic countries. And i think the language or at least the dialects that I've heard is very beautiful.

ОтветитьArab contributions to math and science is amazing.
ОтветитьI’m Arab from saudi Arabia i love my language, my culture and our morals they have been the best morals ever in history, the hospitality, honor and loyalty are an example. To top it off islam had completed these morals by correcting the mistakes that have been done by our ancestors before islam, such as drinking alcohol, or female infanticide.
Now it’s one of the best. Sadly the media purported our religion and culture in a negative way.
I lived in Lebanon for a while and liked their folk dances specially Dabke.
Arabs never ruled India, India was ruled by people from Central Asia. They built beautiful buildings like Taj Mahal but no universities like Baghdad, Damascus, Cairo or Fez. Utlub Al Elem.
I grew up reading Sinbad’s voyages and Magic Carpet.
That must have provided inspiration for the European Seafarers.
My paternal grandfather is from Palestine and Muslim. I was raised Catholic but now Episcopalian. Dearborn Mich area, very Arab. I love the food. Raised on Mexican/Arab cuisine. I am an Arabtino lol
ОтветитьI'm from India.Being an Indian although I love Arabic language and culture..... literally it's fascinating....I want to learn Arabic language from bottom of my heart ....❤️❤️

ОтветитьI am an American Christian and I love the Arab world. I love that my faith has so much history in Arab culture, and I have also loved to learn about my Muslim neighbors more and more over the past few years. The centuries of rich history fascinate me and I love learning Arabic
ОтветитьAny tips or comments for an American teaching English to Arabic speakers?
ОтветитьWhy is Arab the word less known here in the southern hemisphere?.
ОтветитьIn Brazil, we have a lots of arab last names and bellydance and arab food are very common here. Many hospitals are named with arab names.
ОтветитьOh gosh I didn't know any of these facts. You make me feel stupid. Ha! Ha! Ha! I'm going to study about the Arab world now.

ОтветитьHello Mark,
My son's father is from Iraq. He was born here and talked to his dad on and off over the years (by my ex's choice). Anyway my son has a very present accent even though their relationship wasn't constant. Anyway I want to still teach him about his Kurdish/Iraqi background. He is 7, so do I have him on your teaching site having him learn Arabic or Kurdish? He likes watching your channel as you remind him very much of someone else....lol
A Lebanese ex-coworker brought me some koussa one time, that's my favorite Middle Eastern dish now.

ОтветитьI am Lebanese and also Jewish. Living in the US. How many if those do you see everyday?
ОтветитьMark Hachem, my names is Ayman Mourad, Ana libnani. Kifak? What I love about our country Lebanon is that no matter what religion we are, we all stand together as Lebanese and we defend each other and I feel so proud to be Lebanese for many reasons but mostly that🇱🇧
Ответитьانا ابحث عن العرب اين انتم؟🗿
Ответитьماكو عربي هنا؟🗿🗿🗿
Ответить🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 here, no arab connections apart of some friends.
You forgot to mention that the portuguese language has immense influence from arabic, in words as Almoxarifado, açúcar, sofá and many others.
Besides in Brazil we adopted some arab dishes to our cuisine. Even though kebabs are not so common as in Europe, taboulleh is very well know and consumed (mostly in São Paulo and southern areas) and the kibeh and sfihas are so common that you can find virtually anywhere in the country.
Thanks for the nice video
ОтветитьLearning about the Baghdad House of Wisdom gave me so much joy. I think of it like someone rescuing a burning page from the Library of Alexandria and racing it to Baghdad to carry on the knowledge.
