Your public IP address you show from the Google search is different from the IP address you give to NMAP. Is that a slip or just a different IP address from reconnecting your VPN or modem? Although, I doubt you could scan your own network while using a VPN anyway.

So… I installed nmap and ran “-sT” then ran the program to get information. At first it wouldn’t allow me to run it because I have a ipv6 (ifykyk) so I looked up my 4 instead and ran that… I ran into a warning msg telling me the router wasn’t there or ports have filtered or blocked me for attempting to access. (Very happy about that part). So being curious I wanted to see if anything else was there even if I can’t see it from here so I ran “nmap -Pn” instead…. Which (from what I understand) allowed me to bypass something and was able to give me a small report confirming all of my ports are in “ignored states” …. I’m pretty happy about finding it . I also didn’t watch anything after him showing us the original command so I’m sure there’s more in here HOWEVER send me anything that’s useful to learn . I’d appreciate it.
