How hard is it to get an interview for Finland?
Ответить❤thanks
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьI heard from some of my friends who are currently staying at finland as a student that currently they are facing job crisis. Not only they but also other international students are facing too. Is it true?
Ответить>The winter of year 2021 said "hold my beer" and this is how much snow we got it two -ish days
Yeah, sometimes the winter lays HARD on us with the snow and cold. God bless the Siberians who "suffer" more with the snow

ОтветитьI'm so happy i have almost 300 sunny days per year and I can swim and sunbath until the end of October! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Ответить👍 🙏
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Not a student, but I do intend to move to Finland in 1 - 2 years. About electronic devices: where can I see the prices of computers, telephones and for example coffee machines etc? I don't mind looking into Finnish sites (translators are pretty good and I can read some Finnish too). Are there sites where I can get an idea of Finnish prices?
ОтветитьOn the topic of phones and internet connections, I highly recommend picking up a prepaid SIM card at an R-kioski convenience store as soon as you arrive. There is one in the arrivals area at Helsinki airport, and most larger railway stations also have R-kioskis.
Mobile phone plans are one of the very few things that are cheaper in Finland than in many other countries. You can get a prepaid SIM for a few euros, and they usually come with a few euros worth of credit to get you started. It will save you a lot of money over using your SIM from your home country.
Most convenience stores will also sell prepaid WiFi hotspots with a month of unlimited internet use included, although most student accomodations include an internet connection in the rent so you may not end up needing one.
I Have liven all My Life in Finland. For all Finnish people: "Iltapäivää."
ОтветитьVery useful content! I had no idea about 112 Suomi app.-
I'd just like to mention that winter clothing in Finland can be a bit expensive, too. So I would suggest to the ones, especially on a budget, to get their winter clothing from their home country, if possible, even if you arrive in September-October 🙂
Could you post the name if the apps you mentioned. Thanks
Ответить"Warm" for Finns might not be warm for you.
ОтветитьFinland is sparsely populated with a population of 5.5 million. just London has more people than Finland, and the U.K. has a population of more than 60 million.
ОтветитьThe summer is very warm for us Finns after being in the cold and dark for 6-8 months but for someone from southern Europe or Asia, for example, the summer here in Finland probably doesn't bother them that much. Winter is a whole different situation though. :D
ОтветитьI have been watching ur couple of videos. They r great. Arriving soon 😎. Thanks mate 🙏

I Just Laughed At The Buying Tech Cuz In The County I Live Tech Is Unnecessary Much More Expensive Than Finland.

ОтветитьAnybody from Hämeenlinna here? I have some questions
ОтветитьGood, intelligible English. I will pull up English on your videos 👍
ОтветитьThank you so much Oliver. I love the app an laptop part which definitely new and unique for me ❤️🌷
ОтветитьThank you Oliver for all your video, I’m now in Helsinki waiting for the semester to start!
I’m just wondering where to find the second hand furniture store you talk about. The furniture are indeed expensive as you talk about before and I just want to look for some relatively cheap ones.😅
Hi Oliver, if you know about the bachelor of business administration course in Entrepreneurship and Leadership in Tampere University of applied sciences, could you please tell whether it's a good program ?
ОтветитьThank you Oliver all your videos are useful. Now I know what do I need before arriving and what to expect. I really like winter and it was my dream visiting nordic countries so studying in Finland it's awesome! Greetings from Italy
ОтветитьGreat advice. I would encourage everyone to get a tutor, even if you arrive out of sync with most other students. I have been in Finland for 3 weeks now, and I am very grateful for my tutor. She really helped me get around in the beginning and we still like to hang out.
I would also recommend going to some second hand stores pretty early on. They are great and have many basics you'll need for way less than any regular store. If you don't find something the first time, just come back a couple of times, the stock seems to change pretty quickly in most stores.
In addition to that it might be helpful to check if your first or last name also exist in Finland as this might cause confusion in some cases.
So great the video! I only have a question. It is well know that there is going to snow a lot during the winter. But what about teh rain in others season? It is necessary an umbrella rigth know? What it is your opinion about that? It would be fantastic if you can help me.
Thank you very much
Hi Oliver, thanks for this informative video! I have downloaded the frank app but I am required to have banking credentials for verification
and I don't have them. Can you help on this?
Thanks for sharing. Take care
ОтветитьHi Oliver, couldn't post the question in yesterday's live. I just wanted to ask that if I have work experience before starting bachelor studies in Finland, will that experience be counted when I am trying to apply for job after graduation in Finland? (Given the work experience was in a relevant field)
ОтветитьTip for the photos: if Finland your photos must be as fresh as possible or 6 months old max. If you take old photos that were made in your country make sure they don't have dates on them. If you still look like yourself there should be no problem when you apply old photos for whenere Finnish documents (ID or student resident permit). Another story is when you take a photo in Finnish salons where they give you the digital number that won't let you using these photo 6 months after it was made. You don't want to pay 15-20 euro for a pic each half a year.
Ответитьnice video !!!!
