In the “Rowdy” documentary that came out the other year (which is now available on DVD, and I believe is still on Amazon Freevee; a favorite watch of this diehard KFB fan btw 😁), Kyle opened up on his relationship with Ricky Hendrick from his lower series days. It really seemed like Ricky was like that friend Kyle could vent to whenever something on the track didn’t go his way.
(I’m going to assume everyone in this comments section knows about the Hendrick Motorsports tragedy from October 2004)
But when that happened, Kyle more or less lost his safety net at Hendrick and eventually Mr. H and Kellogg’s got sick of his tempers. That’s why he was fired after 2007

You missed a huge fact here

Kyle's dad lied about Kyle's age so Roush would hire him, the race in California was how NASCAR found out he lied, which is how he got banned and how the rule came about... NASCAR used to not investigate into people's births until 2001/2002

It just amazes me how much adversity he had to overcome just to get his career started. Yet the man still purservered. He took all that and kept fighting. Kyle Busch will always be my favorite driver. Win, Lose, or Draw.

I'm not a Kyle Busch fan, I'm a RFK/Larson fan, but I think it would be grand seeing him win like a Daytona 500 or maybe winning RCR a Championship before he retires.

Not a bad video but you barley scratched the surface of his over career and he was always chaotic. He would rather wreck the car trying to win than place second. He’s was the next best thing to Big E that we would ever see. Now it’s depressing to watch him.
