Denon wins hands down in every feature and implementation. If anyone says Pioneer players are better they are drinking the “koolaid” and ignorant to far superior gear just because their mates think Pioneer is “cool” and the “standard”. They aren’t. They just happen to have had a solid deck in the industry for while. The times have changed….

Denon need to make the pc & mac app of engine a fully fledged dj software app that works with their products, instead of just an library & analysis app. Similar to Rekordbox. It also needs to offer a better BPM counter if it has 0.001 pitch resolution & has beat gridding for better BPM analysis, in the player firmware.

Denon fan from the moment of s3700 had used a few years together with cdj2000 in that time ... Now i have Denon 5000m and in video 6000m is my winner for me .

I’ve been djing for 47 years and I chose Denon. Many Dj’s have become so used to relying on laptops and software programs to assist them and they have forgotten about the art of djing. Denon answered that with a spinning platter a scream that allows us to leave the laptop at home and store your music on the fly. So what’s the issue? There shouldn’t even be a debate here. Because, Denon gave us the solution… 💪🏾

Denon knew they could, so they did... Pioneer Aldo knew they could, bit didnt think it worth the effort, so they didnt... And that seen to continue. Good on Denon for keeping IT real and affordable❤

This guy is obviously not to open to denon ... can't really take what he says serious.

So, funny I just convinced a club owner to ditch his 10+ year old Pioneer rig for a full Denon DJ install and all the regular artists love it. Some minor learning curve here and there but now it's a huge win and a welcomed replacement.
Don't be fooled by hype, marketing wank, and haters - Denon DJ has always be on par and the new SC5 & 6000 series are top notch; in many ways edging out Pioneer.

It’s crazy how every YT creater/DJ defends the CDJ3000 like they are paid not to say the SC6000M is a better player. It busses it’s a$$ in almost every way. How could we say this is not the best player in the industry whether you’re a wedding, club or main-stage DJ. Come on. Say what it is.

Pioneer mixers lagging bad behind others in quality of sound so why should be any diffrent in cdj departament? Best mixer is model 1 and best cdj is denon6000.

If someone can do something better but doesn't because they don't need to, I consider that lazy. If someone is out performing that guy that is resting on his laurels then that guy deserves the win.

The Denon just looks cheep

It tells a afoul lot about a product if the only pro for a product is that it’s club standard and Technically the Competition is technically superior in every sense of the word.

Dude on the right can't admit that the Denon is better in every way , he keeps claiming he's a big club DJ .

Digital tech will NEVER have the LIVE feel of an instrumemt like an anolouge set up with records. Mistakes (as mentioned above), distortion and sound from digital tech is a very clever emulator and no more.

I swear Pioneer put the USB in the worst place in front of a drunk . It's sad that Pioneer is industry standard that they can get away with the high price.

It’s true. Pioneer doesn’t have to compete with denon or anyone. But come on. Denon blows that cdj3000 out the water. I mean didn’t know about unplugging the power cord and it still stays on. Man I love my pioneer and I own them. But was gonna sell my kids to buy them but now I could just sell my wife and get two denon. Lol. But foreal. That’s impressive with the Denon. Thanks guys. I have a hibrid setup, 2cdjs and 2 denons, everyday I find myself liking the denons more.

Nice debate guys... as usual..LOL....I have tried both units and I am from the Ol' school and believe we should still root for the underdog with potential rather than the comfortable standard for the reason again...of hoping for innovation not the standard. I am rooting for Denon as I really like what they Engine DJ team is doing...the updates for the system has been amazing.....

Pioneer is all about 'they do not need to' have wifi, 4 decks etc, but it is always nice to have an option, sucks that kind of monopoly on the market and lack of innovation. Especially with Beatport link wifi is necessary

I wish Denon, or Rane or somebody would make something like the 6000m, without the screen and standalone mode. I like the Rane 12, but they're bigger than I like. And I don't need or care about the touch screen or standalone capability of the 6000m. A 7-8" version of a Rane 12 would be an instant buy from me. And not the Rane One, because I want 2 controllers + a mixer, not an all in one unit. But of these 2, the Denon is infinitely better, and it's a lot cheaper too. It's crazy how much the 3000's sell for just because they're made by Pioneer. If there was a Numark equivelent, it would be probably 95% as good for around $800 lol.

I love my Reloop Rp8000Mk2, and I love vinyl but I think sooner or later I'll buy a 6000m.

take away the "night club standard", and Pioneer loses automatically

As far as I know the Dennon SC6000 (m) can actually preview tracks while they are playing as long as you have connected the player with a dennon 1800x/1850x mixer!

To be fair denon were the industry standard for a short while before pioneer.

And here I am … still using turntables (not even sl1200s) …
But Denon there deck makes me think they want the number one spot that they used to have with there dual cd decks back in the days back …
It’s actually really weird that pioneer dominates in both cd/digital decks and mixers since in the past these used to be different brands like indeed Denon for the cd decks and Dateq for the mixers (yeah I know there were some other brands that had dominating mixers but Dateq is the one I know best to be in that position )

I ve one piece nexsus 2 player and cdj 1000 series.... If you are talented no need club standart you can play anything My mixer djm 750 mk2 I was confused between X 1800.... But seeing pioneer everywhere and believe better built quality I go for pioneer.... X 1800 has much more features and price was lower

Argggg!!!! Do I get the Pioneer to set myself up for big club/festi gigs which will likely be a blue moon thing or get the Denon and pursue private gigs as a mobile DJ. Also, whihc road is better, Rekord Box or Serato.......

I made the move from a DDJ-SZ to the Prime 4 and I can tell you that my creativity level went over the roof...Best investment I've ever made..Get on the train because this train don't wait for no one❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Denon listens to there customers and Pioneer only sees the Wallet💩👎👎👎👎👎👎
