Those humanoid robots look hilariously useless. Why would you need a humanoid robot to inspect a body panel? That's literally just a camera (or lidar) and these factories already have those cameras. Adding a slow pair of legs and the ability to fall down makes no sense. The entire humanoid robot thing is just chasing the AI stock hype, it's all a lie. That hype video showed how fundamentally slow, unbalanced, and incapable that form factor is.

I'd be interested to see where Factories in Italy are going to source their skilled workers? Italy is in working population free fall and this phenomenon is only accelerating over the next decade. Widespread use of productive human like robotics in manufacturing is still a way off yet!

Current practice of selling EVs at a loss for many companies means using selling price is NOT a true indication of cost and cant be used for assessing cost parity.
Sale price < COGS is NOT sustainable. So for many manufacturers, current selling prices are NOT any indicator of cost parity.

Lucid starting price under $50,000 means $49,998.00. The Saudis are throwing good money after bad.

It should have been mentioned that Lucid low volume of cars equals to a lose of $330K lose per vehicle according to another journalist channel. I do not believe folks will be flocking to buy their $80K SUV. The brand does not have that wow factor yet.

New vehicle prices, ICE or EV are already inflated...that means existing registered EV's will lose even more resale value & do people really care if the vehicles reach price parity.

Lucid and what they are doing is poorly covered in the media and Tesla fans are quick to jump in with misinformation in every comment section. None of that really changes that Lucid makes the best driving cars on the market today and has the funding needed to establish a global brand. Sure, that will take time and be very costly, but it's happening. The next few years will be interesting to watch.
