Hello! I was looking at the abilities of both Kafka and Serval and noticed that both of them describe the damage of Shock differently. If I build a team with both Kafka and Serval will an enemy with the Shock debuff take both instances of damage or will Shock only apply one?

can DoT damage heal the inflictor during Luocha's field?

I pulled for Kafka on the last day of banner because I decided I shouldn't skip her, your guides on DoT, Sampo, and Kafka have been as fantastic as they are life saving!! Really in depth and I really understand this mechanic and teambuild now!

The video was interesting and chalked full of useful info, but constantly pronouncing the acronym "D.O.T." instead of just saying the word "dot" triggered me. Years of calling it "dot" makes more sense in my head instead of spelling the letters out individually. It's like spelling out "L.O.L." instead of just saying "lawl"

im a simple person. tell me the mainstats and i will farm crit subs and call it a day. hoyoverse games are too easy

Is DoT affected by defense reduction?

After getting kafka and her lc i can say that she alone can proc so much dot without dot team
I put her in my seele bronya loucha together

For decades in MMOS we called it Dot Damage, not D > O > T

Kafka is one of the few characters in the game who will only get better as time goes on. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is a meta character by 3.X

So BE built Silver Wolf can work well with Kafka? Managed to luck out and get her on a couple 10warps

I was today years old when i realized that if an enemie's weakness is not broken, they take 10% less damage

ive recently played SU with nihility resonance. and no boss melts in an instant. and i got kafka first pull .. so i guess im building DOTs now

One of the funniest and hypest things is now Serval and Sampo will go so hard when paired right. I hope to see more ways to buff 4* characters like Herta or Physical MC

i haven't studied this much for finals as much as im doing for kafka

i sadly wont get blade but i really hope kafka is good so that when i get her i finally have 2 decent teams

Well. I need an explanation about DoT-sources.
I understand:
1) normal and break-DoTs can be applied together.
2) Serval's 4th eidolon let her to apply shock, but it be similar to her ability's shock.

But what about normal DoT's from different sources?
For example, There are Himeko, Hook and Asta - all three of them can apply normal burn. If they do, is the most powerful burn will stay (or reset it's cutdown), or they will apply 3 different burn-effects?

So, I have a small question. Asta's DoT scale is 50% of Normal Attack dmg. So, how that DoT base dmg is exactly calculated? NA dmg the enemy take? NA dmg the enemy take but without crit? NA dmg without crit and enemy res, def? Or just half the scale of NA talent?

I understand a bit more now, but this still looks like black magic, I am afraid we'll still need guides on what characters make effective DoT teams and how to build each of the team members exactly.

No Serval guide? Especially about DoT team with Kafka? I was planning to put my already built Serval SW Bailu and the upcoming Kafka on the same team. Im too lazy to farm for Sampo so i just improvised.

Since you said Frozen and Entanglement doesn't count as DoT rather as CC Debuff, does that mean if i apply Entanglement with Silver Wolf then use Kafka skill to trigger DoT that won't work?

Ive been maining Serval as she eas the first character i pulled. This really helped me understand her numbers and has prepared me for the DoT kafka team im hoping to build.

not kafka making himeko actually good

I quit after playing for a bit, heard Kafka was running soon n came back to farm. I saw her in the first cutscene n wanted her in my team - now have 80 pulls and 40 pity. Hope I'll get her <3 Also always loved DoT playstyles. And Sevy, you have a very pleasant voice to listen too :3 Much love
