I have my test scheduled soon. But still struggling with reverse parking. I can never set my side mirrors right i guess
ОтветитьI think u have saved me , i use to confuse reversing a car by using all the mirrors at once. U have taught me to focus on one at time and look in front abit . Am for sure going to try ur method and see. Love me . U a great teacher
Ответить"Lower the mirrors"....THANK YOU! My husband needs to see this video as he gives me a hard time for adjusting the mirrors for reversing!!!
Ответитьright rudder
ОтветитьHi Sir. Can i use the same tips in Canada? Because your British cars have steering on other sides, but here in Canada steering is on other side. So is tips same in video for Canadian driving too ?
Ответитьthis came up on my feed, but would like similar video with 2 cars on both sides. I always feel like I'm too close to the other cars so then end up really far away if I were to park next to them, (which I fix it up afterwards) but would be easier to do it in less turns
Ответитьa thank from phu quoc island, Vietnam
ОтветитьPassed my test this week and wanted to thank you for the tips your channel provided
ОтветитьI passed my test 50 years ago and I have never had to parallel park .
ОтветитьAs someone who is dyslexic you explained this soooo much better than those who tried to teach me. The concept of being backwards and everything being reversed always confused me! But the steer the wheel toward where you want to go!!!! I get it now! It def clicks and the visuals help as well thank you so much for this! ❤ it makes so much sense
ОтветитьI prefer mostly not to turn my head back and poke while reversing, cos I feel that would give me tunnel vision, ergo I will forget to look around me. Also The car is quite fast in reverse even without the throttle therefore you tend to steer here and there quite a lot. It gives me headache. I only turn my head for a short period when I'm reversing into a bay where there is a car on either side. Otherwise the mirrors are more than enough, aligning the car before reversing is what can be tricky.
Ответитьminchia, ma questo guida a destra ormai siamo alla frutta
ОтветитьGood teacher with clarity.
ОтветитьThanks help alot,
ОтветитьI wonder how to safe front side not to hit, at the end of your video🤔
ОтветитьVery informative, but I must say , i have been parking all sorts for the last 60 years without any issues even though I had never learned it. The only thing I always make sure of is that no one is underneath the car.
ОтветитьVery informative video thanks
ОтветитьHands down you’re the best instructor I’ve ever had. For the first time, reversing makes sense. 😭 Thank you!
ОтветитьI've passed my test but these videos are still helpful because they teach what the instructor usually don't teach :)
ОтветитьThis guy is really amazing!
ОтветитьAagh!!! Richard, when you turn the steering wheel while stationary you are damaging the tyres. It's like using sandpaper on your face. Only turn the wheel when you're moving, even slowly.
ОтветитьI find having small blindspot mirrors to be really helpful when parking as I don't really need to lower the actual wing mirrors to see the line or the kerb
ОтветитьDry steering?
ОтветитьIf you lift yourself up, you don't have to mess up your mirrors.
ОтветитьThe best video and advice i ever seen for for manoeuvres, i am an experienced driver , i am teaching my wife, this video definitely will make the things easy for me to explain it her and it cleared my conception too
ОтветитьGreat
ОтветитьThank you very much for your advice. Reversed driving is still a problem for me 🤪
ОтветитьHow to park the car in the heavy rain .😂
ОтветитьNice!! Helpful!!
ОтветитьGood instruction. It's good to be patient and take your time, despite the pressure that other drivers may instill upon you. And you will experience impatient drivers, particularly in big cities.
ОтветитьGood tips for an old driver. Thanks
ОтветитьYou said you would get the driver to revere back into the bay, you cannot reverse forward.
ОтветитьBest car parking guilds and have explained well thank you❤
ОтветитьI’m going to test drive Thursday 😢
ОтветитьI passed my driving test yesterday with two minors. These videos were very helpful, particularly the advice for using the mirrors to reverse and judging the positioning of the car. Thanks for the excellent videos! My advice: keep focused and alert, don’t overthink things and be confidently cautious but not overly hesitant.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьVery helpful thank you!
ОтветитьThank you for a great job
ОтветитьI discovered this trick of lowering the mirrors on my own as I learned my driving in 1963 before door mirrors were invented. A few years ago I helped a lady friend get into a tight spot in a hotel car park using this same method. Cars are much easier to drive today than they were back then.
Ответитьi drove for a whole year in my uncle’s 2003 camry where the back windows were actually large and worked, knowing the dmv and driving schools they ALWAYS make you look over your shoulder through the back window for everything. now i passed the road test using that method, i got a 2023 corolla cross and damn near crashed it while merging because i thought the back window would be useful ….. IT IS NOT. that’s why i’m here learning to use the mirrors properly and thinking about getting blind spot assist alerts in my car 😭
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьHello Mr.Fanders ,I’m ALEX from GHANA🇬🇭.My question is*can you put your hand behind the headrest of the passenger seat to look out for pedestrians whiles reversing?🤷♂️🤷♂️
ОтветитьI do this everyday with a 7 ton box truck.
ОтветитьBack many years ago, my driving tutor didn’t use the “mirror” technique and I didn’t know about this. After watching your videos, I started using your “mirror” technique in parking, and now I am confident whenever I park (except in multi storeys car park which I need to practice more😂). Many thanks for all these videos, you are a great teacher!
ОтветитьThank you 😊
ОтветитьGreat ❤
