They got a new case you can use any motherbord you want and looks nice I know that is a old episode but I wanted to say it on a video thats relevant to this video
ОтветитьYou shouldn't be allowed to use a Linux PC
ОтветитьWhy is this in my recommendations xD
ОтветитьThe do now sell this case with an IO shield cutout and front I/O seperately
ОтветитьIronically it's like the only case that would look good with them nockutia fans😜
ОтветитьLinus, this isn't the 1990s! You don't need to compile the kernel for yourself! XD
ОтветитьWhy do they give you nvidia by default? doesn't nvidia perform like shit on linux?
ОтветитьRidiculously easy to use app store:
"Yes do as I say!"
Breaks your DE
TBH this is kinda missing the fact that their higher-end workstations (64core threadripper) have no equal, and are still just $1k more than the sum of their parts. Everything major OEMs have is awful value & specs - only alternative is cloud computing.
ОтветитьI'd reformat it and put a pirated copy of Windows 7 on it.
So you could do more than just run a lot of Firefox windows.
Take all those componetns out and put them in a Corsair 5000D RGB case
I'm dissapointed that Linus did not uninstall the GUI by accident, yet.
ОтветитьI wouldn't call building a computer tinkering these days, not since plug and play hardware became a thing.
ОтветитьDon’t buy it for pop os set Taiwan a province of china. I responded to their staff but they didn’t care at all.
ОтветитьNow Linus does Linux
ОтветитьIt was a quite honest review for 2019
ОтветитьBut can I be a pirate gamer on Linux?
ОтветитьLinux Mint
ОтветитьThe future of computing is microsoft and other big tech removing people's autonomy to freely choose their hardware parts and open source software. hope we can stop this microsoft pluton madness, and their plan to remove open source everything, blaming 'hackers' like in India, that's the WEF Klaus Schwab/Bill Gates way to get rid of the competition. Look up 'gre_at R__eset by Klaus Schwab'
ОтветитьMy linux pop os vm doesn't work
ОтветитьI feel their market is high end developers who don't quite have the time to tinker around with a new machine and need a new or better one.
ОтветитьNormies more like people who sell their data and give money to buy and operating system
ОтветитьAll industry standard tools run on Linux, in the vfx industry everyone uses Linux.
ОтветитьThe one thing I really don't like about System76 is that it's kind of a boutique brand -the prices are pretty high, if justified. I would greatly appreciate more ready-made budget systems, especially in the laptop space. When buying a new desktop, I'd get a custom one at a shop in my town or build it myself either way, but that's a tad trickier with laptops.
As for the distro, I haven't played with PopOS yet, though I did get kind of fed up with Ubuntu some years ago and switched to Manjaro.
I appreciate your taking a look at this, Linus.
My ds4 remote works with pop. I can't get it to work for any other distro.
ОтветитьI find it ironic how a backpack company sponsored this and then then Linus made his own backpack
ОтветитьDo they collect anonymized user data? This company is doing a lot of things right. Their hardware shows passion for Linux and the users.
Ответитьlinux tech tips
ОтветитьThe big knock against Linux is “you have to get under the hood and use the command line, so its not for the average user.” So here is the use case: the simple user experience of Widows, but without the telemitry, bloatware, and increasing dependence on fee for service apps like Office 365. Not everyone has the knowledge and experience of your staff to build their own system. I think its amazing they have taken a page from Apple’s playbook; build beautiful products, easy to use, with excellent customer support at a premium price.
Ответитьtheir system build options look amazing. if I had FU moneys Id drop 52k into a custom Massive right now
ОтветитьMkbhd inspired intro
Ответитьisnt this like the m1 mac
ОтветитьWtf Black pepper shampoo? :D
ОтветитьIt's that they built a custom open source firmwares from the ground up for their machines specifically. Better optimization, performance and GPU management than traditional Linux variants. This also means you can adjust it even further yourself and build how you want.
ОтветитьI was a bit "what?" when I saw the name "pop" the first time :)
ОтветитьI went on their website and designed the ultimate maxed out pc they will make and sell. It was over $70,000............
Ответить“Yes, do as I say!”
ОтветитьYes do as I say !!
ОтветитьHere from the Linux challenge.
ОтветитьI really believe in system 76, if anyone wants to get the best parts possible and is comfortable with paying a little bit more, This system makes a lot sense
ОтветитьAn rtx 2070 for $559? Yeah, no.
ОтветитьHipster junk
Ответитьthis did not age like milk
ОтветитьI tried to configure it for myself on the system76 and the price reached $80, 000
