What if you have glue to hold your screen together? Because when i cracked my phone it bent it a little bit and i had a lot of dust inside my front camera and now it looks fogy and i would like to try and open it up but i remember the person fixing my phone saying that hes gonna use some glue.

Why don't people JUST buy a glass screen protector? It always seems like people with iPhones ALWAYS crack their screens? Do they NOT know glass protectors exist? I have always had nice Androids and make sure to always have glass screen protector and a thick phone case. NEVER cracked a screen

samsungs and motorolas are even easier, since usually you just need one philips screwdriver to completely disassemble the phone, and you dont really need to worry about screw placement as they are all the same size, plus they dont have apple's super delicate serialzed components and things like glued flex cables (10 series has the face id/ear piece cable glued to the frame so if you just unplug it and try to pull the screen off you tear the cable). most android phones (the google pixel series being an exception) open from the rear, so no chance to crack the screen when opening it to replace something else, such as a camera or battery, just make sure to get the full assembly (display+frame) and not just the display, usually they arent that much more expensive if at all, and you'll save yourself the extra headache of removing the old display from the frame. Also, make sure to remove the sim tray before pulling the mb out!
