Emp and hack aren't changed at all but translocator now instantly teleports when thrown and stealth is now a passive when your out of combat you will go stealth

Judging from the new trailer, i suppose that the translocator will be sombra's new ult. In both the leak and the official trailer we see her translocating and EMPing right after.

Also, it would be cool to have wall-hacks removed from the hack and given to the new virus ability

Why can't they make it so hitting people with translocator inflicts them with Virus? that way we don't have to get rid of her only disengaging tool and it also balances her because if you want to get away from a encounter then you have to save your translocator instead of using it in the fight and risk being killed.

I’m disappointed because if blizzard could make a imperius Reinhardt and make a Azmodan Wreckingball why couldn’t they make a Malthael reaper that’s what’s been bugging me

If they straight up remove translocator she’s ruined in my opinion, unless you can’t get shot out of stealth for like 2 seconds while activating it but even then just spam and kill her, and what about getting to high ground??? Ughhhhhhh I hate this.

Virus one does seem a bit op gameplay wise since unless you got a teammate call it out, might be harder to detect, like it looks harder to detect. But prob will still have the sound que going “i’m hacked”

Thankfully her translator isn't fully getting removed, tho it was reworked, I'm curious about what they changed with her translocator

The way Amaterasu edges us at the beginning

I don’t think TL is going away, I think it will be a throw and activate-on-land which prevents full on run away from fights. I think Amaterasu got it backward - this replaces hack and requires a skill shot.

EDIT: The season 7 trailer indicates Stealth is now a passive ability for Sombra, the TL remains but is reworked, and Virus is a new ability (no sign of existing hack). She seems to be out of stealth for the Virus shot btw.

Ball player here, I think they should have replaced hack with virus instead of trans with virus. Then, make the status effect for virus just be a reveal that stays on you until either 1. you destroy translocator (bit of hide and seek element), 2. kill sombra, or 3. she inflicts it onto a different teammate. The reveal would also reveal closeby allies like a sonic-arrow. Also, make tp cooldown 10s, unable to be placed in spawn, and make the CD start only once you tp back, and then cancelling tp refunds you 7s on the CD. Also, tp CD could also be dynamic, where 10s is based on tping a very far distance back, and scaling down the closer you were to your tp, up to a minimum 3s CD if you do one of those toss TP jukes in a 1v1

Why not just make it so her translocator goes on a cooldown if she hacks? Maybe like 2-3 seconds. She still has to commit and can keep her mobility.

Maybe translocator will be a charged passive ( like baps jump) and you can only throw it at a certain distance and not be able to place it. Maybe if you charge it the furthest you turn stealth the minute you use it too?

Its possible she may have translocator for emp only
