UPDATE: The US has increased the price of an ESTA from $14 to $21.
UPDATE: You are now required to upload a photo of your passport. (This may be easier on your phone).

The question of convictions, if I tell the truth, and answer yes, but if I answer no, might find myself later in trouble. Is this question primed to make you lie

I was charged with breach of the peace (UK) 30 years ago, and plead guilty and fined £500. I would say my conviction is not of moral turpitude, so would possibly here answer no

If I answer NO, is there anyway to leave some sort of note, letting them know of my conviction, and believing it not to be moral turpitude

Hi I am British national and I applied US ESTA recently but have not been to US yet, I am in Canada at the moment visiting the niagra falls. I would like to cross the border on foot to USA then come back same day . My question is will there be any issue crossing back over to Canada on foot from USA side? In ESTA they are stating how you enter USA and I put on my ESTA by air and not by foot . Will there be any issue regarding this?
Please answer

You explained very clearly how to complete the ESTA form but when I tried it in August 2023 I could not even complete the first page without being instructed to upload my passport. This involved holding my passport page inside a window on my MacBook screen, but when I did this nothing happened. It looks as if something has changed since you wrote your guide and now you need to do something really tricky - do a video on how to upload a passport that can be followed by any old person who might wish to holiday in USA.

The Question i want to ask is that when it says city of birth but your city of birth is a different country and then its ask you country of birth which again is a different country so i think esta is not for people who are not born in UK If they got there passport by the way of neutralization then i think Esta is not for those people .AM I CORRECT ?

Cuba has now been added to the list of countries they ask if you have visited. It will be a problem if you have been to Cuba on or after January 2021. I was there in 2020 and got an "approved" ESTA application. But as usual, that does not guarantee entry into the US on the day of travel. Fingers crossed though! Note: Do not lite on the form! They can check where you have travelled even if you have no stamp on your passport, countries share information on citizen travels as your passport is always scanned. Lying will definitely disqualify you for life from an ESTA.

The ESTA lasts two years, but you’re only have a limit of 90 days to stay in the US. How does that work? If you get the ESTA that lasts two years you can’t stay in the US for two years

Hi thanks for uploading the video, it was really informative and useful, have a question, for the address in the US, if I'm staying at a hotel, will it be ok to just input the hotel address as I know which hotel I'm gonna stay in, or I have to make a booking first and then input the address? What if the esta application is not approved and I've already book the hotel?
Also once the esta is approved, can I print it out on a hardcopy as a document to show the customs officer for admission to the US?
Do let me know, thanks a million...safe travels.....🎉

Thank you so much for the video, if i have a double citizenship and I have confirmed that in the Applicant Information section, then in the Personal Information section when it asks again "Have you ever been issued a passport by any other country" do I surely still answer yes right, unless it means any other 3rd country? And my last question would be regarding the US address if I provisionally book a hotel but then change it to another hotel, should i come back to this page and edit that information?

Hi. I want to ask a question. For example, I went to US for vacation from Feb to Mar 2023. Say I left US on 29 Mar 2023. When is the earliest date that I am allowed to re-enter US borders with the same ESTA? In other words, what is the buffer period that I need to be away before I return to US?

I am originally from the Phillipines but currently working/resident here in UK (not a citizen). Am I eligible for ESTA or do i need a different visa? Thank you in advance for your response.

Thank you a hugely import video. I have some questions
1) I'm applying for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 youth. Can i use one email for all four applications? It's just makes life a but easier

2) my wife was born in India but is now a naturalised Brit. In previous nationality I guess she'd put Indian? She is not a dual national.

3) is the ESTA a separate document. Or it something that is stamped in the UK passport?

Thanks in advance
