Saw this in new york was alot of fun my favorite part was the dementors

Acting was phenomenal, specials effects are cool. Second act has very awesome special effects. But 3 hours and 30 minutes way too long. Dialogue gone too much at some point of the play i was 😴 is Good. Just wished the run time was less.

I saw this show last week, it was fantastic. But there wasn't as much action as I anticipated. When the movie gets made, it will be fun to compare it to this.

I watched the cursed child and it was amazing! Great acting and effects and the characters had great chemistry!

I think Watson and Radcliffe would be so sorry one day if they insisted not to make this movie.
If for nothing else, it is JKR who made them famous (and rich of course) in the first place.

horrible story when you read it but the effects and performances make it better in a way because they plot isn’t that important anymore so i did enjoy it a lot!!

Just saw this today in Toronto and all I can say is wow! Wish I could replay it again like a movie but it wouldn’t be the same as seeing it live.

I watched the play recently and it felt like they forgot everything that happened it the books and made a whole new story that doesn’t fit.

Does somebody really like such kind of shows? I think it's a little cringy

If the original cast choose not to return and with some resting (RIP) a series with all new faces would be a great starting point only problem I think Disney owns it not sure tho

I read the script/book years ago. Me and my brother were going to watch the Broadway show in 2020, but the pandemic happened... Just earlier today (Feb 25th 2022), we finally got to watch it and we enjoyed the show. Both of us weren't fans of the script/book. But the Broadway performance made it worthwhile.

I'm more interested in backstory of Nagini, why newt Scamander visited dumbledore in prisoners of azkaban and the 4 four founders of Hogwarts. Or why is it that all the books rooted on... If you are not loved by others you could become evil. That does not happen all the time.

I really hate that they change Hermione! Every official artwork and the movies showed her as white with red hair and JKR never said it was wrong. She even gave advise on the movies but never said anything. Now JKR claims she has always been black. Sorry but I don't buy it! She should have made her black in the first place then instead of changing her and claiming she has always been black. I hate when they butcher characters like that. Why not make Harry a girl and Ron a gay trans person? Oh and Snape has always been chinese with blonde hair and likes to wear women's clothes.

I have a question to anyone who has watched Harry Potter and the Cursed Child parts 1 and 2. I thank anyone who can shed a light into this matter.

I have bought tickets to see this play on the Palace Theatre in London with my parents on March. We will be travelling from Spain. The case is that my mother had a surgical procedure in her back some time ago, for the relief of pain and other symptoms that occur when a herniated disc in the spine presses on an adjacent nerve root. So basically she can't be seated during too much hours. Of course she will make an effort for this special occasion, but taking into account that both parts last two and a half hours, I am afraid she might can't make it. I made sure to buy tickets for the Dress Circle, which I understand is the best, but still...

So my question is, in case she didn't have a good day with the pain... which part is worthier watching, One or Two? And I am only talking in terms of special effects (spells and stuff) since she doesn't speak English anyway, she is going simply to witness an spectacular play. She is a GREAT Harry Potter fan.

I thought the book is excellent however I wish I can see the play but live to far from the places that do the play
