His ending in the new phantom liberty ending is interesting. He becomes a merc on the run and wants to meetup with V again to hang out.
ОтветитьSilverhand said it. Hes a loyal servant of Arasaka and will act in their best interest.
Doesn't care one bit about V.
“With our current technology it would be impossible “ How tf did it work for Johnny but not me. Lied to your face. That scene hit so heavy in so many ways.
Ответитьi choose to kill goro bc his main goal its to get saburo back, by possesing his sons body, so its the worst finale, and V its freezed to die
ОтветитьWrong. Save him for the achievement
ОтветитьI don't like him but I'd save him for extra content :)
ОтветитьIs there a reward outcome difference in this video or is it all morality reasons? It's a video game so morality reasoning is meaningless to me tried to skip through but.. cliffnotes version anyone?
ОтветитьYorinobu did nothing wrong.
ОтветитьAfter knowing the Phantom Liberty ending that the NUSA can successfully take out the chip and destroying Johnny in the process.
This means Arasaka's priorities lies with retrieving the relic in good shape and didnt care about V's brain. Maybe to gather data from a living human trail called V to apply the technology to Saburo transfering to Yorinobu.
The man's telling the truth. You're, basically, just a pawn/collateral for Goro, he even tells you that after he saves you, just not in those words. Although he is one of my favorite characters in the game, he ultimately doesn't have V's best interest at heart. It was always just a temporary team-up just so Taka could accomplish his goal, not to help you. Even if he'd have actually found a way for V to survive and part with the chip, it would've only been icing on the cake for him, not because he genuinely cared for V and wanted to help him.
ОтветитьTakamura, like all the residents of Night City, are seemingly narcissistic degenerate-samurai. But you're wrong. Takamura wants V to think soberly, he doesn’t know anything except Arasaka, this is the “samurai code” for him, and therefore cannot offer V friendship outside of Arasaka. At the end, his constant phrases about death, about Arasaka’s choice, are the words of a loving person who cares about V in his own way. The fact that he did not fly to V earlier, he emphasizes himself, because he wants V to have no illusions. Arasaka doesn't lick V, doesn't lay down the straw, just hits V on the head. Takamura softens this blow as best he can - with a steel of a samurai sword. They both belong to Arasaka at this moment. The rest is true.
ОтветитьI think Soul Killer is a myth. Everyone in 2077 who has neuroimplants, everyone whose eyes light up when ordering a soda and a cheeseburger are constructs. Someone simply forgot to tell them about it. The neurochips in their heads, including V, displace the personality with streams of information and influence, manipulate the personality, turning a person into AI in the flesh. This is why Alt was able to create Soul Killer. She did not kill the soul, it is already dead for the majority of 2077 and that is why the residents of Night City want to become a legend with such zeal. In search of a lost soul. Alt learned how to copy bio AI onto a completely soulless machine.
ОтветитьNow i got a reason to start a new play through and fuk him over.
ОтветитьThis is fantastic. I didnt even get that entire mission with V in the station!
ОтветитьI personally think that not saving him is the most canon option since fighting through a swarm of arasaka soldiers would have been impossible for the canon version of V.
ОтветитьOn my first playthrough I accidently got the cowards way out ending. Made me burst out laughing 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьI don't know. It feels like there's more to it.
First, if Arasaka wants your engram, they take it. Alt and Jonny weren't asked either. Also Goro told you to read the contract carefully and even told you, that you will be Arasaka property if you subscribe, something you just don't do if you wan't to trick someone into subscribing.
It's safe to assume that Arasaka hears everything on the station and that the pressuremaking and stuff is there, so that Arasaka don't get suspicious.
For me it sounds like he tries to warn you but also not get busted by Arasaka.
My first playthough I thought he was a ass so I let him die I'm glad I didn't choose to save him as he's even more of a ass than I thought
ОтветитьI really didn't know you could save Takemura
ОтветитьI did save the fuck head not knowing
ОтветитьREASON I DIDINT LIKE THE GAME EXPLAINED
ОтветитьI personally find his ending speech satisfying. Quite sadistic of me , but i REALLY dont like the guy.
ОтветитьOver analyzing
ОтветитьDamn I didnt even know he could be saved lol
ОтветитьI had no idea you could save him. Johnny said get the fuck out and so did the objective. If it said optional save Goro I would have
ОтветитьOne thing I really enjoy abou Takemuras writing is how awkward he is when texting V. Its clear that he has lived as a corpo agent for a very long time and has lost the ability to have a casual conversation.
ОтветитьI felt realy bad for Takemura after that quest. It got worse, when my girlfriend told me that I could have saved him. That was a Well Shit Moment. xD
ОтветитьGraphics look ass
ОтветитьIf you don't save him you can't go platinum
ОтветитьMan sent me a picture of a cat and one of these “ :3 ” I would die for him
Ответитьwait what? you could save him??? D: well i guess another task to add to the new game + xD
ОтветитьI want the trophy so I’ll do it anyways
ОтветитьI wont forget that arasaka killed my boi Jackie Wells
ОтветитьThink the biggest indicator of how he's a bad guy is the fact "The Devil" achievement will not unlock if Takemura is not alive. Implying he is the Devil. Or at least one.
ОтветитьMe who chose corpo life path - Abernathy fucked us, not Arasaka.
ОтветитьIt really sucks but it's true, Goro was a surprisingly good character through the whole story on my initial run, I remember speaking about a cat we saw while waiting on a building construction site, we talked about how it could have been a cat demon, an omen, at the time. We talked about where he came from, we got pizza despite his initial distaste of the idea, and Johnny laid back and listened until he couldn't take any more and cast himself off the building. Goro texted me about it later; a picture and s message, closed with a cat emote ^o.o^
I defended him when Johnny talked shit, I told either Judy or Panam he was an exception of what suit types were. I liked his weird code he talked in and the way he spoke of things in a cool and nuanced way, citing history, culture, and people of the past.
That ending credit remark was such a punch in the gut, a reminder that even when you grow close to someone, know them, beleive they know you, value you and your perspective on things, when you know that you've made a mark on someone, some core ideals, some fundamental part of them, no matter how much you might beleive otherwise, sometimes can never be changed.
Night City is a forge fueled by unmet potentials, hopes and dreams, a crucible, and no matter what shape someone takes in it, it's the core that remains no matter how chipped and warped the blade may become. Goro will always be a company man because it is the company that forged his core.
I can't help but wonder whether his sudden outburst and turning on me wasn't a form of coping mechanism, too. How much easier would it be to deal with the death of a newfound friend if you convince yourself, goad yourself to be angry with them, see their agency as betrayal so you can live with losing them when they soon die. Maybe my death would come softer as an example, rather than another glimpse of hope snuffed out. I don't know.
All of that is true....but I still like Goro.
ОтветитьYou die anyway right? The engram is just a cop not actually you?
ОтветитьI didnt know I was able to save him. If I had known I would have 😔
ОтветитьBut it's fun to save Takemura and mow down the Arasaka troops. They are so squishy. Then you can screw him over later by taking down Arasaka and it's a happy ending.
ОтветитьThe floating pizza in the diner said he was cool though 😎
ОтветитьI think, that he really believe saving you by doing this contract thing, like i think he believed Arasaka scientist can save you. The reason for this you have already mentioned. He owes his whole life to Arasaka, and yes he oversees the negativity. So all of his trusts and believes lie on it. So technically he's very honest with you.😊
ОтветитьIt's not as much about saving Goro or not, but more about why should you not trust Arasaka all together.
Eye for an eye, that's what I say. Saved him and took a different path. We are straight, even though he hared mey guts in the end
Take Kiwi’s words for example. Never trust a soul in night city. Everyone turns on you, eventually.
ОтветитьThis the type of dude to straight con the kid in new Vegas with Euclid C finder out of it instead of spending the couple hundred caps
ОтветитьTakemura is literaly doing what V does whole game...
ОтветитьI saved him because he saved my life. Just don't go with the Arasaka in the ending. Don't think too much.
ОтветитьWait, what?! I could have saved him?! I know There aren’t many happy endings in NC so I assumed there’s no way to help.
ОтветитьArsehole just wants to legally own your body which already rezerved to Johnny Silverhand. Like "Mr.Krabs from SupongeBob" says "I already sold my soul to those guys, Akakakak".
also he has the same name with other arsehole "Goro from Mortal Kombat". Goros not meant to be good.
And To be honest i wasn't even aware that we can save him, i just bounce to safety like true night city fellow and dont even realized he is dead.
There is no such thing as a good ending, is there?
