OK so when you get to that position then what ? Do you lift and turn or something. I dunno what to do with the club after you get there
ОтветитьRecommendation:use a ball behind the club on your takeaway
Ответитьwhat do you mean <in front"
ОтветитьHis golf swing is prettier than fine piece of art!
ОтветитьSo the problem is when I take it away normal I have a hard time with the sequence. I get wayyy better ball striking when I come in shallow. But then it makes it look like I’m coming in over the top on my down swing.
ОтветитьSimply keep your elbows pointing down. Avoid these drills
ОтветитьYa make sure your club face is closed so you have to flip your wrists to get the club in the right position at the top of your swing 😂 just like Rickie Fowler. Obviously anyone watching this clip is capable of swinging like Rickie so just follow these bass ackward tips and join the PGA Tour 😂
ОтветитьLol i noticed no shot tracers on that terrible swing
ОтветитьWhat ive learnt about these tips is that i always circle back to these tips later in my golf journey and realize that the tip was right all along.
ОтветитьLol. The first takeaway was the best. 😂
ОтветитьTwo words: Raymond Floyd.
ОтветитьNice one
Ответить@golfslump, should i try to take the club in front of my right pocket?
ОтветитьStriking the ball pure, I use this video every other month when I feel my take away is too far out and then I under compensate by taking it inside to quickly. This gets me back in check
ОтветитьThis is a copy of David Ledbetter’s “A swing”. He has lots of videos on this
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьBe AWARE...I started doing this drill 2 yrs. ago and now I can't do my backswing without pausing as shown in the vid...not a big deal, I hit the ball great, but I get a lot of comments on the links about the "pause" in my backswing! But this is a GREAT drill for a proper takeaway and seems to get and keep your swing on plane on the downswing...
ОтветитьYall worrying avout the wrong shit ... You don't hit the ball on the backswing lmao
ОтветитьJohn rahm has entered the chat.
ОтветитьThis is why golf instruction is ao complicated.....so many moves that are not fully explained.
When I started playing golf in late 1970's I modeled Jack Nicklaus with a flying elbow then later swung like Couples and would lift the club and turn my hips toward the target. I could Boom the ball back then with the ability of driving some short part fours with my Perssimon head or smqll steel headed driver. It felt natural then.
I started reading instructions and have over 100 golf instruction books. This instruction would have changed Couples, Furyk, Trevino and many other half if fame golfers.
Plus it was not finished.....he said take the club back to that 1position "then swing through"......but after that position is forearm turn and a set.....then after that what are the thoughts for the downswing? There is a lot of golf swing after that position.
I have found to improve a good player who has good mobility and athleticism, these positions are helpful, but to a player who is just recreational swinging comfortably and with rythm is more important than positions....IMO
Looks like your club is behind you? Maybe a different angle please?...
ОтветитьWhat’s the benefit of this?
Ответить🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьThis isn’t a drill tho 😢
ОтветитьThis is what I’m working on now and then turning left at impact
ОтветитьWhy?
ОтветитьThis helped me a lot! Thx
ОтветитьVery good advice!!!
ОтветитьTaking the club back slow and low has helped me with the long irons. That reminds me of this drill.
ОтветитьBen Hogan didn't.
Ответитьnah this just looks good but isnt necessary
Ответитьhow does jon rahm take it back?
ОтветитьYou thinned this shot
ОтветитьThe second option was actually good because you are under plane all the time
ОтветитьThis isn’t a drill lol
Ответить100% this is a great drill. It will help massively if you have issues with a left club path. David Ledbetter teaches this take away. The extension is, take away, set the club lag then rotate the torso. 💯
ОтветитьThis guy is still underplane 😂
Ответитьnice drill
ОтветитьOr in layman’s terms start you backswing with your left arm across your chest Gary player explains this sequence in one of his clinics
ОтветитьThere is nothing wrong with the first way of taking the club back, its called single plane swing what Ben Hogan did. It works great for myself because I am not as flexible in shoulders and I have broad shoulders.
ОтветитьYour not doing anybody any service.
ОтветитьThis was ripped off from Danny Maude. You should watch his videos for good tips
ОтветитьGreat tip! It actually helped me to develop better swing. 👍
ОтветитьGood tip, I wrap the club so will definitely try this!
ОтветитьWhy does it look like you’re swinging out of your shoes lol
ОтветитьMy backswing is horrid .once you keep it in front then it rolls back ?
ОтветитьOmg that’s sooo smooth dude thank you
ОтветитьI'm good with irons it's that slice from the driver aghhh
Ответитьwrong....
