It must be an Omen. Alex and Katie win Tournaments in different Countries at the same time for the second time this has happened. Perfect time for the engagement.

I find the editing on these WTA highlights really frustrating.
How can you show the start of the decider then suddenly jump to 4 - 1 on the scoreboard without showing how it got to that? Ridiculous. And 720p upload? Seriously?

Parecia mas una competencia de resistencia fisica que una final. Me parece que Boulter le puso mas corazon debido al apoyo del publico y porque se creyo que podia ganar otra vez el torneo.

Pliskova has the better strokes, but Boulter has the better footwork. Should be a clear thing on clay, but on grass is surprising.

Whaaat? Didn't Katie just play against Raducanu a minute ago? I got a whole night's sleep in between but Katie went non-stop ...🤔
I am happy for her win. Sadly, Carolina seems to be fading away.

Congrats to Katie. I am very happy for her.
I feel for Karo, though, I also like her. But, Karo's body wont allow her to win two matches in one day unless she won them in straight and easy sets. If women's majors lasted five (5) sets, I doubt Karolina would ever win one.

I remember when Katie was the laughing stock of GB women's tennis. Baby, look at her now!

Also congrats to GB having 2 tournament winners in Katie and Jack. Exciting times for them going into Wimby.

Also I live that Katie and Alex keep winning titles on the same weekend. It's just so freaking cute! ❤

Isn't it wonderful seeing a great match without annoying grunting war? Don't know why modern WTA matches are increasingly competing to see who grunt louder to intimidate her opponent.

Congratulations to Boulter on successful tittle defense. She truly played great in this tournament. She was fearless and consistent at crucial moments. She never gave up and fought hard for every point, every game and every set. No matter how fatigued physically, mentally and emotionally she felt, she didn't stop believing in herself and her ability to win. She fought like a true champion in this tournament and well deserved this tittle. Job well done for Boulter.

Katie’s looking dangerous! Happy for her, she seems like a really genuine person. She has no points to defend in Birmingham or Eastbourne so could very possibly be ranked around 20ish before Wimbledon starts in a few weeks if she keeps this form up.

Very nicely done, Katie. Let's let the Brits win their piddly little run-ups to Wimbledon, since we know none of them will be there in the latter stages of the real thing. At least it gives the pro-Brit announcers something to get excited about. Meanwhile, the curious career of Karo Pliskova continues on. No one takes her seriously as a major contender anymore. But she's out there playing and cashing paychecks. Meh, it's a living.

A brilliant performance by both contenders - especially when considering the fact how tough it must have been playing the semis and the finals on the same day! Both play fantastic tennis, technically outstanding and with style and grace. It goes without saying that Katie Boulter is gathering many fans with her immaculate appearance, her spirit and attitude towards the sport and the sheer beauty on court...
Katie, I wish you the best of luck for the rest of this season, you are an inspiration!✌👍🏆💖
