So yeah with the coming of the next generation of Fighters in stuff like SF6, Tekken 8 and all that, new games drive new controller sales, especially after such said controllers are becoming more and more visible in high level tournaments and general play and thats why we are talking about them today! I guess to note this is in no way a "sponsored" vid, I paid for each controller featured with my own money thank you very much lol, just showing you the options out there, so watch the vid and let me know what ya think!
Ответитьor the hitbox as covid and the other controllers as 1m americans.
Ответитьthe thumbnail instead of nukes it should instead be plane and the other controller the two towers. It's more fitting for you as an american lmao.
ОтветитьMy Hitbox works on the PS5 because since this video was released and I have a Brook Universal Fighting Board, I also installed the UFB-UP5 daughter board which forces full PS5 compatibility for the Brook Universal Fighting Board, and the Brook PS4 + Audio PCB. Also, there was a recent release of the Brook Wingman FGC which causes most WIRED controllers and arcade sticks to work with the PlayStation 5. Very soon [if it hasn't happened already...,] Brook will be releasing the Brook Universal Fighting Board Fusion, which is PlayStation 5 compatible for fighting games.
ОтветитьThe directional precision is my top feature of leverless. My inputs became 10x cleaner after picking up leverless from pad.
ОтветитьReal men use an arcade stick and kids use hitbox
ОтветитьBought my first arcade stick . Was stuck between the all button and arcade stick one . The way I see it the all button one is a little less fun to play on but can be more competitive in matches . Arcade stick way more fun but not as competitive vs a player with the all button layout . 🤷🏽♂️
ОтветитьThe Razor Kitsune is going to be an interesting loverless fighstick. Its another official one for Playstation, but the buttons are the linear switches like the Furin FRS.
ОтветитьAs far as leverless controllers I have the original Hitbox for PS4 then Hitbox Cross Up then now the Vitrix Pro FS-12 for the PS5. Love them!
Ответить$250.00!?
ОтветитьI will forever be using joysticks because it's the most interactive and fun to use and i grew up in Japan with arcades everywhere.
ОтветитьIt's weird because I only play on my PC and tried playing on a regular console controller but it felt very sloppy (both stick and dpad). I switched to keyboard almost immediately and it felt so much easier. And keyboard is basically the same as a hitbox, more or less. This was way before everyone started raving about them.
Never tried an arcade stick. I imagine they are great but still think it would be more sloppy than my wasd keys. I also have a lot of exerience with first person shooters and first person games in general so my muscle memory for those fingers and those keys probably helped me a bit.
Still waiting on the one you made recently 😂
ОтветитьAt this point, you might as well just use Modern Controls..lol
ОтветитьIm coming into sf6 with a hitbox how long did it take you to get confident with it?
Ответитьyou already can see players in sf6 which use hitbox. I can't be loser so ordered such too. lol
ОтветитьHitbox vs stick is like mouse vs controller in fps one just does the job better
ОтветитьI really found it strange Logitech didn't get into fight stick/ hitbox. I wish they did because practically all of these controllers are not available in my country (India) and hence import+ plus customs will cost about 85-90% of the controller itself. Razer is not into Hitbox... yet. But they'll probably subcontract Kailh to have their own branded LP switches or use Sanwa switches.
ОтветитьI like hit box because i like buttons
ОтветитьI live in Italy and the victrix is impossible to find 😂 not only in Italy in whole Europe has the same problem
Ответить1 month away from the release of SF6 and the hitbox still doesn't work with the PS5 what a freaking joke really incompetent company
Ответить639 DP is back since Capcom changed Up + Down to equal Neutral. Also reacting to overheads with Up button is here
ОтветитьSo. Hotboxes are more ergonomic right? That's one of the biggest reasons I went to an arcade stick over a pad, since a few years back, I had problems with my right thumb.
Will a hitbox make sure that my wrists aren't going to weep?
I own a Victrix Pro Limited Edition M Bison and it's the best stick I've ever used it's very comfortable and weight. Also beautiful however I am planning on getting a leverless fightstick and I don't plan on buying a Victrix F12 because there's no need of having a big stick like that when there's not a lever built it. So I think a leverless Victrix (FS 12) is not the best choice I may get the Snack Box
ОтветитьThe one I'm looking for is like keyboard arrow keys on the right and round buttons on the left
ОтветитьAwesome video. I can tell when someone is using one. I have so many god damn controllers I gotta just accept I’m a Gold player. Lol
ОтветитьI switched to a hitbox because I wanted to fix the fact that a lot of the time, I was adding an upward diagonal input while trying to do moves on a pad and when I tried using a stick, my shoulder got incredibly sore...and I felt WAY slower on the stick with Nu-13 in blazblue. Leverless was the best of all worlds for me.
I honestly haven't looked back since I started using one.
What I would like to see with things like these types of controllers is the inclusion of an arcade stick above the Dpad buttons, of course you would need to have a switch to turn off the Dpad buttons and switch to the arcade stick and so but that would be cool to see, there probably are some sticks out there now that are exactly like that.
ОтветитьYou can also just use current sticks for Tekken if you go into the settings to remap 4 of the fight stick buttons to the DPAD and then you can set your stick to the left Analog stick setting and you will have two ways of executing moves. You're welcome :P
(If your stick doesn't support mapping you can actually go into the accessibility setting on PS4/PS5 to change the buttons if you like)
As someone who uses both Fightstick and Hitbox, playing with Fightstick has always given me more sense of accomplishment and enjoyment.
ОтветитьWelp... it wad good while it lasted. 😂
ОтветитьI was really interested in the Victrix FS12 but you've completely sold me on the Furin FRS tbh
ОтветитьI got into fighting games almost half a year ago now and I've been just using a standard controller and its been mostly fine I've developed muscle memory and stuff, but one thing I noticed is my thumb would often twitch just enough to move my dpad out of down back and I'd get caught by stray lows I really shouldn't be. Because of this I decided to look into getting a leverless controller, but as I'm in the UK and on a budget my options were fairly limited, I essentially found 4 options I considered reasonable. Importing a snackbox from the US and just sucking up the high shipping time and costs, ordering from furin arcade as mentioned in the video as they do normal shipping to the UK (the most expensive option I found though), building one myself but I wanted a normal case I didn't want to be building a controller out of an amazon parcel box or something and at that point the price was mostly on par with other options. And the option I went with, okiboard (similar to MPress for you americans) while it has yet to arrive, it has all I wanted from the controllers I was looking for, I will update this comment with my thoughts once it arrives.
Ответитьbro in my country a controller is not ,,stock'' a keyboard is, how is that not the case in other areas still lowkey baffles me
ОтветитьI switched mainly to save my wrist from getting destroyed. If you can type on a keyboard, you can play on a leverless controller.
Ответитьthanks for showing a video of your hitbox demonstrating what you're talking about for FG noobs like me
ОтветитьI understand the want to switch, but at the same time its still a learning curve, and honestly most of the shortcuts or cheats I've seen people complain about are exclusive to Street fighter V, And you can do the same or similar cheats with pad using a combo of d-pad and analog stick, granted some pads are easier than others.
ОтветитьCheaterbox? Big words coming from people who has auto aim built in for their shooter games.
Ответитьis there any hitbox type controllers for xbox series s/x players?
ОтветитьNot working should be the fix. Boycott this cheating. Walk away from anyone wanting to fight you with a hit box.
ОтветитьWhen BBTAG got rollback netcode I tried to practice some combos but kept noticing I would drop 236 movement. I went into practice mode and just did 236s over and over and noticed, doing the same movement, I would get a successful 236 movement roughly 3/10 of the time.
I decided I would buy a fight stick and upon research I stumbled upon HitBOX. I grew up playing games on both consoles and PC so the idea of a purely digital controller intrigued me. I bought the controller, went into practice mode, and once I got used to the controls I never dropped another input. Every "miss input" was now my own mistake and that helped me get better and more consistent.
Honestly it's hard going back.
I'm aware of the unfair stuff it can do and purposely don't do those things, I just use it because it's the most accurate for me.
finallu they nerfed hitbox in sf6
ОтветитьYeah but I play for the arcade days nostalgia so I'm never moving from levers.
ОтветитьThe only thing hard for hitbox (or at least for me), Is doing 720's! I really cant do it without jumping. What yall more expirienced hitbox zangrief fans can comment on this?
ОтветитьBeen playing with the same Xbox controller for my entire life and I was thinking of changing to hitbox so I tried with my keyboard first and it seemed weird. Do you think I should commit to the Xbox or try to change 🤔
(I mainly want it for Zato in strive)
I've been thinking about switching to a hit box for about two years now but it feels like I would have to relearn how to play which I am not ready for
Ответитьwhy not just use keyboard ?
ОтветитьI love my HitBox. It's helped my wrists and hands so much and now that I'm accustomed to it, games are starting to feel more natural. Still can't 360 on it, but I couldn't 360 on pad, either, so
ОтветитьOne big downside to hitbox is the difficulty of doing 180 motions. It depends on the game though, because the accepted inputs vary.
ОтветитьRegarding something like Potemkin kara canceling, would you say that a leverless controller would be more accurate, or at least easier than using a traditional stick?
Ответить
