People seem too concerned about pandering and stuff, getting outraged about everything "woke" but forget that this game's biggest issue is not even about that as that was never an issue, but the lame new game+ locked behind a paywall. None of you all were talking about this. If ubisoft or some other major companies do this, it would make news in many major gaming sites and the outrage would be insane, but sega got away with it.

This is why the America gamers love the Yakuza series; because it's based on Japanese Culture, making it authentic, something new, a breath of fresh air !!

I think western game devs are ruining gaming. Im not that big on japanese games, but their quality and consistency is always top notch.
Compared to western games that are all over the place or are just safe in their gameplay/story.

If Yakuza is localised for the west why would I ever play it, why wouldn't I go to a western a equivalent that understands the western demographic netter and doesn't need to rely on the narrow perspectives and minds of a localisation team?

In what way is infinite wealth aimed at western audiences ? The plot so far ( i’m on chapter 4) is still very Japanese and very much Yakuza. Fromsoftware’s target audience is western and it’s very successful.

I like games geared towards weaboos too as I’m a weeb myself. Guys, calm down. Global Standards just means localization but looking through the comments makes me uncomfortable/want to mock the so called “Censored Gaming army” because of their pro-hentai, anti-censorship views (you guys take that shit seriously?😂) disregarding the quality of such works even when toned down for 15 year olds (hey, I like works geared towards 15 year old boys besides what the C rating in Japan suggests like 2D anime fighters and such. I like to think Under Night II and Granblue Fantasy Rising and Relink is geared towards 15 y/o boys) on his videos but not the author himself. He’s just doing his job. I also prefer anime-style visuals to realism as I’ve never really cared for realism in gaming.
