I think you would do better if you were more positive. If the second you see the puzzle you say "oh no" that will be your whole perspective doing the puzzle. If you go into it with excitement i guarantee youll do better
ОтветитьWhat a fabulous series of events!
ОтветитьHey @karenpuzzles, what is the material/boards that you do the puzzles on in the world championships. it looks rigid but also looked flexible in one video
ОтветитьIt seems kind of unfair that you had to share a table when many of the people there had their own table! It is definitely a disadvantage and a distraction to have somebody next to you.
ОтветитьThank you for this serie of videos. It was really interresting !
ОтветитьLoved every bit of the videos I just binged watched. Your coverage and puzzling are incredible. I had no idea this was a thing. I have a new obsession. Ordering a few of the puzzles, just beautiful artwork. I'll take my time though, not ready for speed puzzling just yet. But really, your breakdown of the event and edit was very compelling and well done. Congratulations all the way around.
ОтветитьI am German and it's hillarious, how you pronounce "Eckteile", as the stress is (as most of the times in German) on the first syllable 'Eck-tei-le and you put it on the second Eck-'tei-le. It's like you would pronounce 'Germany as Ger'many. (I've put an apostophe, before the syllable with the stress.)
Btw. I was born just 10 miles from Ravensburg (in Amtzell), where your puzzles are from.
I know it's been 2 months...but I just wanted to say that beyond the very exciting puzzle championship games, your videography was superb. You matched sound with content and built the story line perfectly. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьGreat videos and great fun. Congratulations!
Ответитьok, but it was plain mean to give you this puzzle for the pairs finals at 7pm after a whole day of puzzling. Some people were solving puzzles since 9am.
They could have the pairs finals the next day at least.
I'd be very interested if HR/BPM data would be collected for all of the rounds, or at least the final ones. I'm curious if everyone's heart races the same or if certain individuals are able to maintain a low one somehow. Or if there's any correlation between how they place and average HR. And also see if those on the edges / near more spectators etc has any effect.
ОтветитьThe most pleasant competition ever. Everyone seems so nice.
ОтветитьI love Karen shes my fave!!!
ОтветитьSecond! Good job Karen!
ОтветитьI love you girl!!!! Do your best and thats what matters
ОтветитьThis is just so fun, wholesome and heartwarming! Thank you so much. I doubt that I'll actually pick up this hobby myself, but will certainly follow your channel for the 2024 event.
ОтветитьYou did wonderful Karen may God be with you next year at the competition and could hrew this year . Did so good
ОтветитьWhen you say you sorted corners and squares what do you mean?....Thanks....
Ответить😢 Un hobby que debería ser para hacer tranquilo y relajado con un cafecito, lo han convertido en una competición estresante.
ОтветитьI didn’t know anything like this existed & I don’t even like puzzles… BUT I’m invested
Ответитьnever thoguht i would watch people puzzle for more than 3 hours :)
ОтветитьTha is amazing! How can anyone start competition? Just buy any 500 pices puzzle and practice ?
thanks for the content
Second place! That's amazing!
ОтветитьYou inspired me to buy a 500 piece Venice puzzle, ain’t no way I’ll finish it under 4 hours 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWow, thank you for putting this all together, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it! Secondly, I never knew speed puzzling was a thing!
Ответитьyou are a chart master
ОтветитьI can't do jig saw puzzles to save my life, but what I enjoyed about this was that all the teams, whether they finished 1st or 30th were so overjoyed with the result and the goal achieved.
So much of sport and competition these days is just about "winning"......anything other than 1st place, is considered "losing"; instead of a great concerted effort and best performance you could do on the day, so kudos to all the teams for being so positive and joyful
I don't know how I ended up here, but I just watched all three videos in one sitting. Lol. So amazing. Now I'm crying happy tears with Alma Belles mother.
ОтветитьWhat about the dog in the art puzzle?
Ответить"No photos or illustrations of animals." Literally a dog in one of the puzzles for the teams final.
ОтветитьCan't believe I spent the night watching jigsaw videos. Your passion and joy is infectious, well done to you and all your teammates
ОтветитьThis was a very entertaining watch! I love your energy! When you talk, it sounds like you're constantly smiling - it's easy to connect to your passion for, not just puzzles, but people!
Thanks for sharing this adventure with us! And congrats on all your successful performances!!
why am I cryin' tears of joy watching this??
ОтветитьYou need to bring a bigger suitcase next year
ОтветитьWow, you edit these videos yourself? Amazing work, I loved the editing, especially during the end of each competition levels, the music selections, the side by side comparisons, it literally kept me on my toes the whole time as I was cheering on. Today is the first time I learned about jigsaw world championships and I'm hooked. Thank you for introducing and sharing puzzles with the world 🌍 ❤
ОтветитьKristen was so not smiling at the trophy ceremony. And she looked like she almost started crying and had to compose herself (she is Nordic after all, to show so much emotion is not typical) right after the finish. Sucks soooo hard to come so close.... Will be rooting for her next year.
ОтветитьExtraordinary!.❤
Ответитьkaren, your enthusiasm is infectious.
ОтветитьIt is pretty cool that you have essentially the same standing as the BBC when it comes to puzzle documentation.
ОтветитьI didn't even suppose that such competitions for assembling puzzles existed. I watched the whole competition. I'm thrilled. I also wanted to engage in this amazing hobby.
ОтветитьIm late to the party (your channel was recommended to me recently) but your achievements are epic! Wow. I'm really wondering if i should start puzzling again and practise, maybe i get good too lol
ОтветитьIf you could design the perfect puzzle for the singles World Championship round, what design elements would it have?
ОтветитьThank you, I´m not a puzzle person (I think) but this kept me so entertained!
ОтветитьWhy share tables ?
