Move over Daytona - Omega Speedmaster 'Moonshine'

my deal breaker is the thickness, really can’t stand thick watches 🤢

The Daytona is just so much more aesthetically pleasing to me personally!

The hype is gone. Just buy what u like. Don't need to pay premium for ' Rare' .

Being a Omega fanboy, I would choose the speedy

This is my current, favorite Speedmaster! Gorgeous.

Beautiful watch (both but omega especially) but also a money trap. Unless $$ aren’t important to you, the Daytona appreciates in value so is a safe and tax free place to park your hard earned dollars versus the omega which will depreciate like a lead balloon

i know looks are subjective but everything about the daytona looks bettter. the sub dials in the omega are too close to each other

Watching with my gold Daytona on alligator. But that speedy is also gorgeous.

Both look terrific, but prefer the Speedy between these two models.

Names aside, I'd go with the Daytona for thinness, and water resistant. They're both 3 register chronographs with stick Indicies. Nothing more nothing less.

hi Bruce. do you have a video comparing this to the more attainable Hamilton JAZZMASTER PERFORMER AUTO CHRONO? outside of the obvious real gold vs PVD, what is your assessment of the quality/movement?

Omega make great watches, but I can’t stand the crowded (too close together) subdials. Loved the green speedy in gold, but tried it on and could not get past the subdials.

This watch is pure class I don't care what haters have to say 💪

I have a bigger wrist so I went with the 44.25mm Speedmaster Two Counter Moonphase in 18K YG. It's as close to a daily as I have. Love wearing it. Everyone who can afford it should have a precious metal watch for regular wear.

Speedmaster over Daytona every time

It's the one "grail" watch that does absolutely nothing for me. In fact, outside of it just being the 'moon watch', I just don't get it. I've had one, & my friend has the reduced. Not for me.

I have been having dreams of this watch. I will try to pick it up sometime soon!

I know completely 2 different watches but going between this and a Rolex skydweller, I have the Daytona. You can get a hell of a deal on omegas, and pay a grey market premium on the Rolex. Plus automatic vs manual wond. Can someone help me decide…lol.

The price is laughable

I have this on the full gold bracelet, I’m now looking to purchase the rubber strap for it so I can change from time to time , probably be very expensive as I would want the gold clasp . I absolutely love the watch , I turned down a gold sub with the blue dial over the speedmaster. Very pleased I did

Better than a Daytona!

In general I find the speedmaster's to be a superior looking watch over the Daytona...and I may buy one...however I want a Rolex more.

I’m an Omega fan! Bought my 1st luxury timepiece being an Aqua Terra Blue Dial w steel bracelet, also blue rubber strap to swap out depending on occasion. I will be purchasing a Speedy… just on the fence between Moonshine vs. Sedna gold. 🤔

The overall looks of the Speedy and the heritage win me over. The Daytona has immaculate dimensions and a vertical clutch. I still prefer the Speedy though.
