SAMSUNG NOTE 8 CALL & SMS PROBLEM

SIR, I cannot receive or send CALLS or SMS on my SAMSUNG NOTE 8 . It is 6 year old sparingly used set that I bought on OLX in excellent condition.

It is an original Indian set purchased in India as I have bill with me.

THE PHONE HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO ANDROID 9.

But the problem is I CANNOT RECEIVE OR MAKE CALLS ( SAYS “ NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK ” ). NOR CAN I SEND OR RECEIVE SMS. I AM USING JIO AND AIRTEL .

THE SAME 2 SIMS ARE WORKING PERFECTLY IN MY PREVIOUS PHONE SAMSUNG S8 WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM.

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME SORT OUT THIS PROBLEM AS IT SEEMS TO BE A TECHNICAL ISSUE.

There is another thing I did years ago and worked is to take the sim off put it in another phone change the in and then switch the sim card back to the phone you had a problem.

My phone carrier was fixed by (CRUS_NETWORK) on łnsta, he’s the best of all.

Direct message, Lusectoolz 0n ¡nstagram for all sorts of unl0cks,he got my carrrier unl0cked completely within delaying the process.

I had a problem with my J600F i flashed it, using Odin with the same firmware, and everytime i wanted to call it said "Not registered to network" so after spending 3 days watching videos on YT, searching Google, i finally came across a website of people that had the same problem as me so i decided to start reading the comentaries, i saw many people checking for IMEI, using this code *@/0011# and i found that my IMEI disapeared, and my IMEI Status said "NO", during that reading, i found a comment that saved my life : ) and i hope it will save yours too.

Hey everyone vik hare! Its good news with bad news...
the good news is i found the solution(fix) for IMEI status NG.? and the bad news is this fix will only work with that users whose phone network was fine and was working good before the mass you did or happened
but you should still try....
Guys believe me i had spend lot lot of time searching for the solution on the internet to fix this problem but never found useful information.. flashed letest firmware( 5 different official firmwares for exact model that i have) ,flashed custom roms also tried the z3x Samsung tool pro(always gives faking errors) and also tried other flashing tools but no luck...So decided to find my own way. My phone network was working fine before i massad up (yeah i massad up?) it was rooted and VOlte was also not working i needed it cus im from india and i use jio sim that only works with volte to make calls and sms so i just decided to flash it to stock so just flashed with odin and BOOM!!! I stuck with this problem there was no network tried to fix in settings but unable to register network checked my imei and serial number in settings it was thare... so spend couple of hours in internet searching what's going on and found to check imei status with code *#*@/0011# so did it and got my IMEI status is NG i thought its happening because of wrong firmware,baseband or csc files so flashed 4-5 other firmwares and custom firmwares but no luck.. it was very annoying. I decided find my own way.Then i found this problem is caused because of wrong imei number i didn't know that before cus the back panel of my phone written with the original imei number was changed and the box was misspelled also so it was very hard to find the original imei number. So i started to learn basics about rooting after few days found very simple way to fix it so lets do what i did!!
What you need is.
First of all Your phone has to be rooted if you don't know how you can search on Google how to root (your phone model number).
And second the phone that has imei status ng problem lol?
Now Lets get started.
1-Install the root explorer
2- search efs folder and open it
3- now try to find .nv_data.bak and .nv_data.bak.md5 if its there you are lucky
4- now detete the ( .nv_data.bin , .nv_data.bin.md5 and imei folder) read very carefully detete bin files not the bak files
5- now rename the .nv_data.bak to .nv_data.bin and .nv_data.bak.md5 to .nv_data.bin.md5 now close the root explorer and just restart the phone and BIG BANG BANG!!! network is back enjoy....

If you dont have .nv_data.bak and .nv_data.bak.md5 so dont worry just delete the files i mentioned in step 4 and close the root explorer. (Dont reboot your phone)
Now turn off your phone and boot in to download mode and flash the letest firmware of your phone.. done now u can see the network is back thare is no emergency calls only anymore.. enjoy
