I have some lamps I know are worth some big bucks but there is one I can’t find it anywhere
ОтветитьI’ve noticed that robert sonneman kovachs has post modern lamps from the 80s and 90s are going for a bit now. Especially their echoes of Vienna stuff. Perhaps you can give your take on these kind of futuristic lamps from not that long ago that seem to hold their value and unique looks
Ответить*****Heads Up! Lalique has been forged in Argentina for years! BE CARE FUL!👽👽******
ОтветитьWhere you selle what is this websit?
ОтветитьI’m trying to find some info on the Rainbow Lamp Company to no avail. Any suggestions?
ОтветитьI just found you this morning & really like yr video. Thanks so much for the info. I love love love old lamps & it just makes me feel good to come into a room & have a gorgeous lamp lit up that nobody else has or very few. Takes my mind back to a simpler time than the crazy depressing state our country is in now.😔
Thanks for the info, very much appreciated. Although, I must admit that it really bothers me that people will go to these places like goodwill or yr neighborhood antique store & barter & plead to get the price down & not even care about the lamp. Then go out & stake the price so friggin’ high that the average lamp lover & of nostacgic things cant afford them. It really heart breaking bcs that means only the extremely wealthy can have them.
Look, I understand that folks need to make money, sure. I guess thats better than actually working. Its jst that there are so many good people out there that wld love & cherish these items as well & cant do so bcs of the jacked up ridiculous prices that are placed on them by hunters that do not care about the item at all but only interested in the profit they can make off of it. There have been too many times Ive watched those two men on tv that go around the country to garage sales & Mom & Pop antique stores & do this very thing. Ive seen them get in the old lady’s/mans good graces & these poor old people are so happy to have someone show them some attn that they basically give it to one of the men for nothing. Ive even heard an old woman tell them that she was at least glad that to know that someone got it that wld care for it the way she had. I guess it comforted her to know that she sold it for that low of a price to a person she thot wld care for it. Except as soon as they got away with it, they sold it to some bidder from another country & who knows what they used it for!😢
I know, I know, I mean, I truly get it but it jst irks the heck out of me that they sort of scammed the poor old lady. Making her think she gave it to them cheap just bcs they loved it so much. That part of it jst angers me a lot. Anyway, Im jst rambling. Im not hating you here. Just chaps my hide about those pickers doing that to people, especially the older ones.
Thanks again for the informative & cute video. Gonna be back for sure. 😉👍😬
Scored an industrial OC White drafting table light, paid $135 had no idea it's worth until I saw similar that have sold for 2k+ online!

ОтветитьThank you so much! I have searched and searched my art deco bronze with two ladies holding a globe lamp from my great grandmother and all I can see on the edge is No. 192. Any hints you can give me greatly appreciated. I just subscribed to your channel! Thanks so much!

I have a lamp with a lampshade this like a paper light lampshade with roses on it the lampshade is trimmed and look like brass and wood for candle sticks. The only thing is on the bottom herco 2. Do anyone know anything about this table lamp?
Ответитьcould you calm down.
ОтветитьWow perfect timing I bought a lamp it looks really really old but I don’t think it’s old I’ve been searching for the mark on it and can’t find it ( except for the word BERMAN)
I guess that’s it…
I didn’t find anything in my research that look like this lamp…it’s probably a reproduction but I’m not worried about it I’ve decided to keep it because I like it and I only paid five dollars for it at a garage sale lol …OK my question is actually two questions first question does the value go down on a vintage or antique lamp if the cord has been already replaced???
Second question if you’re looking to buy a lamp in any place and you suspect the makers mark is underneath the felt on the bottom of the lap because you can’t find it anywhere else what do you do ask him to pull it off so you can look at it I’m curious???
By the way this one looks like a palm tree type lamp…
Thank you in advance…
Blessed Be
picked up a floor lamp for $5 at a church rummage, beautiful ornate design, majority is cast iron, base is round with 4 lion legs (love them lion legs) Will put a milk glass pendent on it and paint it gold, it originally was plated gold. At the bottom it says pat 1840 so most likely from 1850-late 1800.
ОтветитьYour video was very great and informative. Thanks for creating this awesome video. Today, I found a pair of Carl Falkenstein very large mid-century/Hollywood regency green emboli glass table lamps. I cannot wait to upload pics of them onto my EBay and Mercari. You would not believe how much I paid for them and they are going for close to $3,000
ОтветитьI have rescued some vintage blanch de chine reticulated cherry blossom, white porclin, ginger jar lamps from going in the trash. Vintage 1940 -1950 WWII brought back from Occupied Japan.

ОтветитьPFH ?
ОтветитьI think I may have stumbled onto something I haven’t bought my first lamb yet but this confirmed there is market for it
ОтветитьWhat are my lamps worth
ОтветитьI've had some excellent finds myself. One in particular was a set of amber glass slip shade pendant lamps at an antique flea mall. It was a set of three, two had the complete set of glass slip shades, the third had one missing. I got the set for $35! I got home and did some research, listed it on eBay and got almost $600 for the set!
ОтветитьJewelry, vases, candlesticks, clocks- wall-wrist-pocket, books, paintings, frames, mirrors, serving services, furniture ...
All this can be found very cheaply, and then sold for big money if you know how to recognize value and quality. I think that such a video would have reviews, and also help many who go hunting for valuables.
Hi Dingo / Treasure Hunter Reseller 👋 Just found your channel tonight while searching to find out if a Frederick Cooper lamp retains its value even if chipped.
Have to say awesome video! You share great info, balance humor and timing (not too long or short) and have a fun personality. Made a new sub out of me! 🙂
I want to find these treasures and hoard them like a dragon
ОтветитьHey, so in my pantry in the back I thought it was an old christmas topper but when I tried to move it, I realized it was HEAVY. I pulled it out where I could see the whole thing and was amazed it was a lamp. I’ve never seen anything like it and I knew it was quality by its weight. I’m talking maybe 10 pounds but idk I didn’t really weigh it. On the bottom it says Arredoluce Made in Italy. After some research I’ve found that it’s model name is “cobra” lamp, but idk what kind of bulb it fits. Where do I get info on how to restore this lamp or get it working myself?
ОтветитьA bought a 1960s Leviton Brass & Amber glass Lamp. For $3 and I looked it up ITS worth over $400… ITS REALY Gorgeous
ОтветитьI found an amazing vintage pole lamp. It has markings on the bottom but I cant find anything more about it. Would you be able to take a look at it if I sent a picture?
ОтветитьHere is a bunch of impossible to find lamps!!
Gee thanks
I see a lot of questions in the comments but no responses.
ОтветитьFound what I think is a Frankart nude woman lamp. I believe it's original because the age of the cord. I can send pictures through email. I was wondering if you could tell me the value of this lamp
ОтветитьI’d love to know how to tell if I’ve got a girandole lamp. How can I tell?
ОтветитьJUNK 🫖
ОтветитьSo this is why it’s so overwhelming to me. You have to know a bit about what the heck you’re looking for (which I sort of don’t) and you walk into this huge store of lamps… it would take me weeks to go through there looking at what they have and trying to figure out what things are worth, and what they can be sold for. I am just in awe of someone like you who can do what you do!
ОтветитьHow about Leviton lamps, how much they cost probably? I found big 36 inch lamp, ceramic stone with linen shade. The lamp is super heavy 20 pounds.
ОтветитьWould love to see an in-depth video of vintage Murano glass lamps !
ОтветитьMay we see more of the actual lamps and less of you?
ОтветитьLamps r the best .love u ! Ur such a cutie pie!
ОтветитьI just got an AMAZING, very old, seahorse and nautical bridge lamp. I'd love your opinion about it. I intend to keep it because I absolutely love it. It needs restoration, too. I mean, I'd like it to look better. But!!! I realize too much can reduce value.
ОтветитьThis is great. I have always loved lighting! I love antique and old lighting.
ОтветитьLove this vid. Thanks!
ОтветитьI have a lamp with falkenstein 9094 stamped into it. I've looked it up and learned that its worth a good deal of money. Do you know anyone who would be interested in it?
