now when we look at tanks russia and germany both had decent ones germany obviously had better heavy tanks but we need to look at tactics and experience german tank commanders were better and would never ever have done that. This movie is historically inaccurate.
First of all, German Panzer crews are trained in such a way that whenever they fire they always stop the vehicle.
Second, they do not stay in such a close formation.
Third, The panzer 4 G unable to penetrate the KV 1 frontal armor is totally inaccurate.
Of course, for a normal panzer 4, it May not be possible but this is the panzer 4 'G'. It is an upgraded version which has its turret replaced with a stronger one able to penetrate the KV 1.
Overall if German tanks were this weak and unorganised, WW2 would've ended before it even started

The russian kv1 was a beast wasn't til the launch of the kv2 it was mounted with the biggest barrel on a tank and it's well known the kv1 series tank had some tough armour only the king tiger could penetrate it's front and side armour loved the tiger series tanks and the tiger tank series
