This was definitely a slap to Kreese's face after he practically tossed Hawk aside for Robby in season 3. I mean Kreese hyped up Hawk to be Cobra Kai's new champion, but instantly replaced him as soon as Robby came along.

You could feel Robby's frustration with Silver and he wanted to finish this fight his way. I do think however if Robby wasn't conflicted when he saw Kenny, he most likely would have won this fight.
