The reason why Neuvillette performs piss-poor compared to Childe is because Childe is extremely easy to buff, while neuvillette essentially has kazuha and maybe Zhongli as a buffer, and no vape potential, or very little.

Childe and Neuvillette have 2 completely different playstyles mates, Childe is an absolutely busted enabler while Neuvillette is an insane hypercarry.

If you make Childe a hypercarry then no doubt that his damage is absolute dog water, but so is Neuvillette's if you put him in international team.

Fun fact, have Childe and Neuvillette in the same team is good. Double hydro for hp buff but also childes passive gives an extra level to Neuvillette charged attack 😂

neuvillette is better than child ein international, you especially when furina will arrive to give him the tru support that he needs, childe is ok but if he cna't 1 cycle he is coocked meanwhile neuvillette does way more dmg and can keep doing dmg on his own

they already fill and function differently in a team, while childe is an enabler for pyro, neuvillette needs a pyro enabler, childe offer great hydro apllication and big dmg burst, while neuvillette offers a consistent big dmg with his CA that do more dmg overall than childe, its like a swap, in childe's team we boost xianling dmg, in neuvillette's team xiangling boost neuvillette dmg, and so if u like neuvillette playstyle honestly just pull for him

Only 1 in 3 buffs works on neuvilette:/

The buff also only works for 10 sec

With 30 sec cd

Wich means you will basically have 20 seconds without buffs

And 1 in 3 chances to get an good buff

And don't fall in the Gambler's fallacy, you can do an entire abyss run and EVERY BUFF become "more atq%"

Having both him, Childe, and Ayato, I feel Neuv replaces Ayato rather than Childe. His playstyle is much more similar to Ayato than Childe and between Ayato and Neuv, Neuv is overall stronger, at least on my account.

However, comparing all three, I do find Neuv still being stronger. While he doesn't have as much buffer, his damage number is can become ridiculously high alone and not needing healers make team building rather open. Also, him having access to Marechaussee Hunter set allow for ridiculously high Crit Damage without consequences.

Neuvilette is a water hose. Childe is a whole washing machine. Childe’s gameplay is more satisfying tbh

Hydro units most of the time dont try to step in each others shoes and are strong in their own specialty (We dont include hydro MC because he/she's trash than dehya)

Childe is what we call and on field enabler and neuvillette is a hypercarry. Obviously neuvillette would he dogsht in an international comp and childe's gonna flop in a mono hydro or hypercarry team

Ayato can be used in any team because his skill kit is braindead easy, versatile and his hypercarry team is not similar to neuvillette.

Both yelan and XQ serve both the same and different purpose but both are still meta

Although kokomi has higher value than barbara, many players still use barbara in a nilou super bloom team because she can heal alot even if you split scale her hp and EM stats

Mona is an amplifier and people still use her

candance is still used in burgeon and bloom team

So in general sense, all hydro units are relevant unlike pyro units

C2 neuvellite here , my charged shot hits 55k X 8, he’s so fun to play . When furina comes m sure he will reach easy 60k x8 . He is strong dps and f2 p friendly even at c0 . Pull him and I assure u, u won’t regret cuz his team so easy to build
