Hi I have kyphosis can scroth method help to straighten my back I’m a 40 year old man, many thanks
ОтветитьWhen I do this exercise I start to feel a squeeze in my lungs, as if I am suffocating, and after the exercise I can take 3/4 of an inhale. It passes only after some time as I sit hunched over. What could be the reason for this?
ОтветитьI had spinal fusion but i have a severely deformed rib cage. Although my spine is straight, do u think it’s still possible to use this method for my situation?
ОтветитьCan this be achieved in a pool environment. Ie in the pool I use a pool noodle under the arms around the body and then let the feet hang in the deep end of the pool. Keeping the spine as straight as possible heel to head.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThanks , If you can explain me or to show in video what is a diagonal circling with the trunc for a Thoracolumbar scoliosis = big C curve .
ОтветитьThanks for the video. Could you please explain how this semi-hanging is better than full hanging as in a monkey bar?
ОтветитьWill it correct the curve or just stabilize?
ОтветитьWhy do my legs get tired when doing this? I also don't feel any stretch
ОтветитьDo you know of any research pertaining to fixing scoliosis curves and improvements of compression disorders like MALS and Nutcracker syndrome in adults?
ОтветитьHere we are not using the legs (lower part) weight to pull down like in full bar hanging... is that light weight sufficient to make a stretch?
ОтветитьIs this a normal breathing or the schroth breathing ?
ОтветитьWhat about a full hang only with the tip of the toes touching the ground?
ОтветитьThere are very few certified Schroth physiotherapists in my country. And not all are actively practising or there are no reviews at all. Most places are offering custom treatment based on Schroth therapy principles with other modalities eg pilates. At best, some of them were trained by the original therapist who was certified. But in most cases, no one has ever been certified. Although my curve is mild, regular pilates was not kind to my spine, low back and pelvic floor. And none of the few physios I went to noticed the scoliosis and prescribed exercises that I felt worse after doing. I'm now middle aged and need to make up for lost time and mobility with some informed decisions. Any advice?
Also, how many sessions are usually needed before a client is able to function with home exercises?
Thank you SO much!!! I have no words to appreciate all the work you do for scoliosis treatment!! My curve is exactly the opposite (first to the left and then to the right). Much love from Argentina!
ОтветитьThank you😘😘😘
