A veggie and herb garden there by the Hartley/Fire place would be wonderful
ОтветитьThank you Laura for a beautiful year of inspiration, fun and happy things, and just being you.....
Oh what a joy ...
Gosh that Frost video.....have never seen anything that beautiful....wow!...
You really do just help us see the beauty in Gods creation...
Thank you
Cried happy tears when you said, thanks for watching. Thank you for sharing, your expertise, your days, and your beautiful spaces.
ОтветитьI got to watch all of these videos and the highlights channel this year. Thank you so much for sharing your journey of kindness, joy, and love through gardening!
ОтветитьWhen Aaron said next year he wanted to work from the house out and add lights to everything, I was thinking Paul may be drafting his resignation letter. 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьWhat a fun tradition this would be. End of the year, tour of highlights! Every time you went to the next highlight, I found my head shaking up and down, “yeah, that was great!” “Loved that one too!” “That seemed like just Yesterday, it really was October?” Hahahaha 😂 It sure has been such a pleasure to be able to watch your videos. Even all my kids know who LAURA is! I talk about you so much, you’re on a 1st name basis around my home! I love that you thank us all the time for watching, and I truly do feel your sincerity. I don’t always get that from some social media content makers. They say the words, but the true emotion isn’t necessarily there. You are just so humble and sweet, as is Aaron! I wish you all the best in the coming year and loads of more success! I’ll be here for it all.
ОтветитьLovely highlights video. Maybe next year could we also have a short Douglas and Russell highlights/ blooper video as a Christmas bonus 😂please
ОтветитьWhere the locust tree was a pond less waterfall would be beautiful you could open the door while you were cooking in spring and autum and listen to it and really enjoy the water every time you come home. It would make coming home feel so refreshing and relaxing before you even stepped in the door.
ОтветитьI’ll be so excited to see the front flower bed develop this year I think it will be beautiful and really make the house.
ОтветитьThoroughly enjoyed this video!!!! You kids have been busy busy❤️looking forward to the new year and see what you create!!! What’s first?????
ОтветитьThank you both for such a wonderful year of gardening, family, and dreams come true. May God continue to bless you and your precious family.
ОтветитьLaura, Aaron, and team, I am always in awe of what you are able to accomplish in one short year! I have learned so much from your channel and you inspire me to try so many different things in my own garden. I got a set of the Laura Edition augers this year! Love them so far, and I’m looking forward to using them a lot in the years ahead. Would love to have access to a ready-made auger stand or wooden rack similar to what you have. They are surprising hard to find! Thanks again for all of the wonderful videos you share with us!
ОтветитьThere is Douglas, so cute! Lots of great progress last year!
ОтветитьOhh! Come now, could you really plant one or two tomato plants?😊
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this video Laura and Aaron. Thank you.💚🌲 Your garden looks exceptionally beautiful when it is covered in frost and ice. I love the three similar conifers that are growing behind the paver area with your two chairs and fire pit. It is a perfect vista, with pond water in the foreground. Have you ever thought about putting a medium sized, fast growing, ever-green hedge, to the back of that area at 51.45/55? It would block out the gravel road. You would be able to prune it to the height that you want, so you could still see the Hartley Greenhouse. It would 'soften' the look of the sitting area and make the whole pond area a more natural and cozy place, especially in winter. The green hedge would also make the area cooler in summer by stopping the reflecting heat from the stones. Just a thought...🌳🌲💚
ОтветитьSounds like a new kitchen garden may be coming
ОтветитьWe love you and pray for you all! What you and Aaron do for us is a gift and a blessing! We need you and your lovely place! Your beautifully normal family helps keep us sane! This mixed-up, goofy world has made us long for love, faith, beauty, and sweet people like ALL of you and your family and friends! <3 (I also love your cats and chickens!) ... keep doing what you do!! <3
ОтветитьThank you Laura and Aaron for sharing your highlights of 2024. I don't think I missed any of your videos this year. I learned so much from them and have used that knowledge to enhance my garden. I am so thankful to you and only wish the best for you in 2025!
Ответить2025 catio with fun stuff for kitties to climb on and comfy beds to Lay on. Plus they'll be closer to food and water. I recommend the sun porch thats hardly used😀
ОтветитьI have the Tru-Tone bulbs! I definitely recommend at least trying a strand! You’ll love them!!
ОтветитьWhat an absolutely amazing year. Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your vision, creativity and gorgeous property. Wishing you a blessed 2025.
ОтветитьSo much of what we look at even in the background of this video was put in piece by piece by you guys. There are some things of course that were there when you got there. But thinking how you meticulously picked what to bring in and set them down, including the Hartley and every little plant etc. all over the property! What a huge accomplishment time can give you.
ОтветитьThank you for all the videos! You are the best.
ОтветитьCongratulations on a wonderful year!!! You deserve it! Thank you for taking us along.
ОтветитьMerry Christmas and Happy New Year!
ОтветитьWow just so beautiful especially with all the snow on everything .❤ Yall have a beautiful garden.
ОтветитьGod blesses us each and desires and deserves our true worship. Remember the fourth commandment KJV reminds us of Genesis 2:2&3. Jesus is our example for rest in this spiritual battle over worship.
ОтветитьLoved it🥰
ОтветитьYes, so enjoyable. Thank you Laura and Aaron I love your drone shots too.
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved this 2024 highlight video with you and Aaron!! What a year! The development of your property is filled with vision, passion and love of land, plants and trees (water too!) Thanks for bringing us along! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe front of house garden would be such a GREAT thing to watch and learn... I’m also wanting to expand the front of our house and it’s an overwhelming project and I’d LOVE to see how you take on a “front of house look” ❤
ОтветитьHappy new year I always watch every episode and I watched it again now good job 👍👍👍❤️
ОтветитьYou sure are busy beavers. Great videos.
ОтветитьGreat year in review. Another momentous year of growth. Most of us have forgotten that the new property development began this past year
So hard to keep up with you. Biggest bummer- loss of locust tree. Continue to amaze us this new year! Yay, 2025!
Thank you from South Australia, we are totally in a different time zone/growing season, but I can't wait to see each new video.
ОтветитьLoved seeing your highlights from 2024! Loved watching Douglas in the background!!🐈🐈
ОтветитьI love the recap for 2024 but Oh my G!!! Look at Douglas in the corner so cute !!!!
ОтветитьThe video of the frost was magical! That was so amazing and beautiful. I always love your recap video of the year. So much happened! It’s great to remember all you have accomplished! God bless you and your family.
ОтветитьYes I believe you had an awesome year and pray and hope that you will continue to have awesome years year after year 🎉🎄🎉 God's blessings to your family 💙🙏
ОтветитьLoved the year recap and hearing some of your planning for the coming year. I have to tell you that I have planted a lot of native prairie plants around our rural Illinois and love it because they thrive here and most are perennial so that is a plus, but you have pushed me to venture out of my comfort zone some with new things that I have found also thrive here adding more bright color to the landscape. I have always had a large vegetable and herb garden, but we have planted more trees. I have added more perennials but I also have put in pops of annual color here and there that we love. Thank you for pushing me to new things!
ОтветитьAmazing year. Great job! Lol. Cloud glare is a real thing.
ОтветитьGreat video! You guys had a very busy year!! It was a fun year too. It amazes me how much you got done.
ОтветитьNice trip down memory lane😊
ОтветитьLoved the video. I wish you a Happy New Year and hope you have another great year of making your place even more beautiful with more planting and great ideas..
ОтветитьLovely overview of 2024. Will you be removing the mulberry tree and extending the autumn blaze maples along the driveway this coming year?
It's sad to loose a big tree but the finished continuous look of the maples will be stunning. Aaron has such a good eye on things like that. For example the boxwood circle yard and having the pond area instead. It will be exciting to watch the next transformation of the raised bed garden. Hooray for big trees and cozy privacy.
Loved this video. Was great to hear a recap of projects on a month by month basis. Thank you. I have learned so much! ❤
ОтветитьLaura, did I miss the x-mas tour of the home inside and out. And the drone show. I hope not, and if so tell those ofus who look forward to the magical job you and your team do. I hope your family had a great and meaningful holiday. P.S. I'm still learning to get around social media. But I have loved your work so much, it makes me happy and I just had to ask. God Bless.
ОтветитьWe like the idea of moving the veggie garden and planting more big trees there. Sounds like lots of positives!
ОтветитьThank you for taking us along on the journey. I have learned so much from you guys. Enjoy the holidays, the names of the plants and trees. I can't wait to see more. I hear you in my ear when I go to move plants. My husband and I planted 3 small boxwoods 6 years ago and they have grown so beautifully. ❤❤ Happy Holidays.🌲🌲🌲🌲🎄🎄🎄🎄🎁🎁🎀🎀
ОтветитьAnother great year following you guys
