Yes! I’ve done it, too! I found a sister 🤯 Well, she found me. It’s still hard to believe!
ОтветитьAlso love those shoe cabinets
I want one but they cost a lot
My mum past but when she was alive her maiden name was Lee
She was the only child
My brother said there lee in china as far as I know we are not Chinese
Love the green of the plants, but there is no way I'd add them if I had to purge other stuff to make room. Maybe a hanging plant instead? 🤔
ОтветитьYes, I fell down the ancestry hole. Lots of second and even third cousins on my father’s side. One of my cousins had two children by women other than his wife and one of them was born a month after his wife had their son. We didn’t know anything about these two women until ancestry . I could go on. It is addictive.
ОтветитьAncestry stuff is absolutely fascinating. I am obsessed but the brick walls I hit are so big, I can't go any further. I was overwhelmed with trying to find anything. So, like any good neurodivergent, I shut down.
Ответить❣️Cas, do you have any suggestions on something similar for shoes for an entrance like Emily’s for a mid century modern home. My son and his fiance have a row home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.❣️
ОтветитьWow!!! I would've never thought of rearranging a small space like this. Awesome!!! So different, yet same but much, much better. Good job!!!
Ответить🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 cool project and to see the whole team at work!🤩🤩🤩🤩😃😃😃😃 Oh wow! Now you can go on holidays to Australia visiting family😉😅😃
ОтветитьShe sounded nervous when you said, "Let's jump in with some decluttering." 😅
ОтветитьNice! I would like to share my best trick to store shoes in the entry space : the Ikea Billy bookcase. It has changed my life! My shoe size is 10 and it fits over 70 pairs of shoes and boots. You can adjust the height of the shelves and add as many shelves to customize the piece. I added the Oxberg doors half glass, half wood, and for the part that the glass exposes, I used baskets to store sandals, scarves and other for a clean, clutterless look that doesn"t expose the shoes. The shoe organizer from ikea that you showed is nice, but only stores about 8-12 shoes and no knee high boots, so it is not practical. A small Billy with double doors would have stored at the minimum 12 shoes and with additional shelves over 40 shoes! Last tip: put one shoe facing front and the other one facing back to maximize shelf space. Love your channel and your energy, I get so many good organizing ideas, thank you!
ОтветитьLove this!
ОтветитьWow, what an high end de-cluttering, re-organizing small spaces makeover, u r 1 of da best. In my life, I choose to have less relationships as much as I can, all to you for finding a hobby of connecting with family.
ОтветитьWish they had got rid of some of the stuff on thr bookcases in the office. It looks cluttered a bit.
Ответитьok, Wed, 15.5.2024
ОтветитьAmazing organization. Great job.
ОтветитьI live in America and I take my shoes off at the door as well.🙂
ОтветитьI also wanted to see the after of the office closet!! Great job - loved this very much! ❤
ОтветитьLove all the shelves!!! Love this cute makeover! Great job, ladies and Joe!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьOk Cas, fellow ancestry nerd here. Don't leave me hanging! What are your ancestry percentages???!!
ОтветитьOMG, I spit in the tube as well. I'm actually trying to locate my biological father but not having such good luck. I'm struggling with trying to navigate the Ancestry site. I think I'm adding things to my tree but they won't show up and ugh! Come and please investigate my family please. Also, great segment by the way.
Ответитьi love every thing you did .
ОтветитьCould you post your friends wedding video ❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьLove it ❤️ I love the vertical space cabinets . Awesome job !
ОтветитьYou are welcome to figure out my family!!!
Ответитьthis was the best make over. you two did wonderful job. like the shelving verticle space use. closet hanging the brooms and vaccume . Joe you are amazing love how helpful and kind you are
ОтветитьI have watched you for years and love your videos. This is one of your best :-) love seeing Joe in the videos as well. I remember when he was too shy to be on camera. This is great. I’ve learned so much from you being an organizer myself. Your categories helped me to understand peoples, organizing techniques more clearly.
ОтветитьHer singing makes me giggle. I love making random songs that only make sense to me. 😂😂
ОтветитьWonderful! Joe you’re a magician too!
ОтветитьHey! I have family from the Channel Islands, too! Maybe we're related! :)
ОтветитьAw!! More Emily!!!!
ОтветитьLove the transformation!
ОтветитьThat place is huge compared to my place.
ОтветитьCould you have fit two shoe organizers?
ОтветитьGreat job
ОтветитьWhat did you use to put up the pictures and cork board? It looked like you were just pressing them so wondering if they were command strips or something else?
ОтветитьLoved this
ОтветитьWords every home organizer loves to hear - “I can let that go”
ОтветитьGreat work and great ideas, my wife has really gotten me on the declutter bus. I’m concerned about the hanging paper storage though. I’d strongly recommend replacing those nails with better drywall anchors for when it inevitably gets filled up during a busy-life season!
ОтветитьI'm a bee and could REEEEEEEALLY use your help!!!!!!!! I have only one room in a house, so it's sooooooooooooooo cluttered.
ОтветитьGreat job and I vote for more small space transformations, also!
ОтветитьHappy Mother's Day!
ОтветитьOMGosh, you caught the genealogy bug too! You might want to do what I did. I learned a lot about some of my specific surnames or areas my ancestors lived and made private Facebook groups. Cousins join and post questions, info, and photos. I love it. People have called me the cousin collector. I have researched for 20+ years. I found out a few weeks ago that I am distant cousins with a guy I grew up with. I was shocked. He passed a few years ago. I so wish I would have known sooner. It is also surname that I know many of the different lines. I knew his ancestry before I knew he was part of it.
ОтветитьFabulous Cas!
ОтветитьThis is fabulous! Cas you're brilliant and this cute girl was so amenable to your changes. Joe... You are a saint!! Can I borrow you for a day? 😆
ОтветитьI gotta laugh, your obsessive organising and interest in family history and DNA is something I can very much related too. It makes sense to me that the two go together.🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьHow is Cas sticking the pictures to the wall?
ОтветитьMy husband is obsessed with Ancestry. He's found some drama and secret/surprise children for his relatives as well! 😄
