And here ladies and gentlemen is a reminder why this generation of musicians is one for the ages - 11 minute plus songs that are a true masterpiece in every sense of the word! I am honored I was able to see them in concert on the R40 tour! Thank you for all the years of wonderful listening!

I really dig live versions as it shows how good the band really is. Rush never disappoints. Masters.

I think my favorite thing about this song is how the ending can either be sad, or triumphant, depending on how you interpret it.

Either its a sad ending, because the character will never escape the caves of ice and be condemned to be forever a mad immortal, or its triumphant because he is taking control of his life again, has learned his lesson, and shall NEVER again return to the pleasure dome, and WILL escape the caves of ice, successful in his goal.

I’ve always admired Spinal Tap, this is undoubtedly one of their best…..

For some reason, I can't listen to this song loud enough.

As I go thru their catalogue and listen to songs with a fresh clear mind I am even more amazed at their talent. Minds blown again and again. Utterly brilliant only way to describe them. Ty for sharing this

I want to take a second to appreciate their memories in those amazing brains. Rush has so many 10 minutes plus songs like this and let's be real, that's a lot to remember. I need whatever coffee they were drinking. Love Rush and always will.
