You have to break in the leather ball. But the Spalding leather ball is perfection when it’s broken in. I have both and I’d rather use the Spalding.

Not to question y’all’s intelligence but this is literally the SAME BALL as the Spalding Ball. Same manufacturer and material. The only difference is the brand of the ball. Because Wilson doesn’t MAKE the balls, they sponsor them. The company that made the basketballs for Spalding are still making them but for Wilson.

I bought the Wilson Outdoor/indoor signature series ball and it sucks big time...ZERO BOUNCE ZERO BOUNCE !!! I deflated it and inflated again...the sound is hollow...the only thing I like is the material they used...btw that little midget took me by surprise he can shoot 3 pt

Once it breaks in after a couple months the shit is amazing ! Since their new most of them haven’t been broken in yet. Just like the Spaulding. When I got mines it was ass until it was broken in !

Spalding started manufacturing basketballs in 1876. Wilson in 1946.
Wilson makes great footballs, but I think Spalding edges them out on basketballs.

And just an fyi, all the balls are broken in prior to games or use in practice. They NEVER use them straight out of the box. It takes a long time to break in a leather basketball.

Break it in first....took me a few months with the spading ball, but it's great now.

McCollum is right they've been using the spalding for years now and switching to another ball isnt easy, the wilson ball is good ones they get used to it
