The Meaning of Liturgy in the Catholic Church

I don't go to church but went to a Catholic school as an 8 year-old since my military dad thought it the best school in town at the time. I am "innately" liturgical because I help people constantly (it's in my DNA!), but this discussion makes me understand the meaning of "church" like never before. New follower! Thank you very much.

Looks, sounds and feels like pure sh*t! You should do whatever you do because you really want to or because you feel motivated to do it or are personally committed to doing it for whatever reason. If you're doing something out of sufferance it's probably better to just forget it. If your heart really isn't in it you are following someone else's plans for you and not your own. The rule makers, order makers, the rulers, the guides, the advisors simply DON'T always have our best interests at heart. They can often be quite malign and unspeakably evil so don't feel blindly obligated to do anything that at heart is not in your own best interests in one way or another. You be the judge of that, the discerner and the exerciser of your own conscience. In conclusion I really don't think much of this teacher or the lesson he's trying to impart. He has failed to critically examine the message he wishes to push. In one word - BRAINWASHING!

The magisterium is the Big Brother of the Catholic Church.

Sorry, Catholics don't believe in objective reality. You believe in the magisterium.

The magisterium says do not drink the wine because you are a lowly a non-priest.

Jesus clearly and with repetition commanded you to drink.
He said it in no uncertain terms and he said if you don't do it you have no life in you...
Instead, you eat only and pretend that you drank.

This is the height the big brother reality-altering nonsense but you still go along with it.

Jesus said "drink"

But the magisterium comes along and says,

"Oh no, what he really meant was you're not allowed to drink"

You says,
"Yes, the new reality is I am not allowed to drink."

Why liturgy/catholic liturgy need to adopt to other culture?

The Catholic Church puts heavy burdens on people like the Pharisees did in The days of Jesus. HE called them hypocrites, snakes and blind..... the pope, bishops etc. Have always seemed money, power and honour which is evident even to the spiritually blind. Read 2 Timothy 3:5 sums it all up. Pray that your eyes will be opened....seek truth through God’s word....the Bible....and not through the Catholic Church which has deceived “many”. Get into a Bible based church..... God bless.

Do not be deceived no were In the bible does it say to worship Mary or saints clearly 10 commandments worship the lord you’re god and serve him only.
That’s why Jesus said unless you accept the bible like a kid who reads straight to the point instead think of his own ways of ‘god’ then you will not enter the kingdom of heaven these people have made up Mary to worship of Satan can twist little bit of the scripture he can cause everyone to go the wrong path there’s only one path guys repent and trust in god.
