I love Jake but the deviation from the original is too far off to be comparable. Randy played it with such clean precision that he made Jake here look like a novice. For someone that had never heard Randy's version, this, in my opinion, would an awesome take on the song. I don't think it would be the same for others that know and heard Randy's version. Just my opinion. Jake was and still is great... not wanting to take anything away from him.

Of a truth, I know that Ozzy Osbourne is not a righteous man, according to God's word...and he couldn't sing his way out of a paper bag, ever...but he has always had the most talented musicians behind him...probably because he has likely sold his soul to the devil in exchange for fame and fortune.

And I have to say, as a musician myself - that I love the masters, Paganini, Mozart, Bach...but I have to say that this performance, of this song, by Jake E. Lee, is my favourite performance ever, and has been for years.
With all due respect to the late Randy Rhoads (and that's a lot), Jake is the only man alive that I've ever heard play this so well...flawless, flowing, heart felt, and wrenching...musically superb and absolutely outstanding.

Ozzy, you need to thank God Almighty that you are still breathing, and thank guys like Jake E. Lee, Tommy Aldridge, and Rudy Sarzo that you ever made a dime in the business.

Just saying.
