I agree with all that mom is really hard worker here.... But it's a fact that dad is not useful in this situation.... If it was the case where Dad was the one with milk, I'm sure he would have done the same thing as mom, and even if it was the case of giving birth to baby..... It is just the nature of things happening... you can definitely appreciate mom, but making fun of dad is not that good.... He has his own way of taking care of his family.....

I couldn't co sleep. Such a light sleeper. I would rather get up and feed...then everyone go back to bed. Everyone slept 6 hours at 6 weeks

This is why you sleep train them earlier so they sleep through the night. A 17 month old does not need to breastfeed that often and is just using poor mom as a pacifier.

You really think the dad was sleeping all this time? No, he was trying but the damn baby was constantly making noise so he was thinking where to put his new single bed.

I don't know why I get disgusted by breastfeeding even though it is natural and am a lady myself.

I’m youngest just turned two and as tiring as the first few months with each of my children were, I loved breastfeeding them. The bond between a mother and child is indescribable.

My wife was diagnosed with Bechterew after our first child. I did pretty much all the work afterwards. What you're seeing here is not just demanding night duty, it's also bad sleeping habits. People need to start sleep training their kids from 6 months onwards. A child at 17 months shouldn't be sleeping in your bed. You all need your rest to be the best parents you can be and this does not help.

That baby isn't being fed enough during the day or he is using the tit to comfort himself. He needs to be a in a separate room so everyone can sleep. This is just obnoxious martyrdom, sorry. The kid is 17 months. Transition from boob to pacifier to a stuffie or blanket to cuddle. My siblings and I all got stuffed bears to cuddle and we never looked for a boob to suck during the night and everyone got to sleep.

It is not recommended to breastfeed a baby when the mother is too tired to stay awake. There were cases where the mother accidentally suffocated the baby while breastfeeding because she she asleep.

Breastfeeding is no joke at night. I did it with all three of my children.

It’s all about your choice of life, if you don’t want to be a mom it’s perfectly fine. But don’t comment something negative, I was a full time career woman and turn to full time mom. And I can tell you being a MOM is the best thing happens in my life. All the lack of sleep, exhausted, tired, breastfeeding are nothing when you see your child growing.

Maybe if they had sleep trained him and did not co-sleep with him, her breast would not have become the only method he has learned to self-soothe. Sleep training takes some effort at first but pays dividends.

Why is she letting the baby snack like that all night long? If the baby got a full meal it would sleep longer between meals. That’s learned behavior.
