I'm surprised,I thought Disney would hire John Williams to continue to create music for Star War. A sense of continuity.
ОтветитьThe score was the worst part of the film. To me it sounded like a fan film where they didn't have permission to use the original music
ОтветитьJust saw the movie. The score was the worst part. Very generic Star Wars-y music. I heard it a million times on Star Wars games this John Williams like type of music.
ОтветитьI loved the movie and I loved the Soundtrack
ОтветитьThe soundrack sounds fine on it's own but didn't seem fit well on viewing. The major jarring bit was the theme that came in 'all guns parping' at least twice (once with that terrible title card). But at least it didn't have some total and utter bollocks like ''Jedi Rocks'' or ''Jabba Flow'' stuck in it. I don't get why the clips featured in this video aren't on the soundtrack.
ОтветитьA pity these two cues weren't included in the score release.
ОтветитьWhy isn't this in the playlist?
ОтветитьDesplat would have been different. This is just a variation of the same. Poor Disney executives
ОтветитьI can't find "Approach To Eadu" on the Rogue One soundtrack ☹️ someone PLEASE help
ОтветитьI feel like because of this video these two tracks were taken out of the soundtrack and I really wanted to listen to them :(. Oh well at least the rest of the soundtrack is amazing.
ОтветитьShame that the only really memorable piece of music from the film was that first bit.
ОтветитьSadly the score has been the most disappointing thing about this movie. music itself fantastic, but the placement of the music could have been better, in my opinion.
ОтветитьLoved Rogue One's score! Whilst was very reminiscent of the originals and the prequels, though it didn't feel as innovative as TFA's score. Still, for the time period the film was set in, it felt perfect.
ОтветитьThe first piece played toward the start of the video sort of reminds me of his score for Jurassic World.
Ответитьthis two songs aren't in the ost album... why is that?
ОтветитьMichael Giacchino captured the essence of John Williams, nice soundtrack.
ОтветитьThe trailer score was way better than the final film product.
ОтветитьThought the score was brilliant. Only (minor) complaint would be the title card hit could have been more iconic, as that's when you have the audience's full attention to judge the score.
But it was incredible. The ending was stunning, Jedha/Saw's haunting tones great and the nods to John Williams' practically perfect original score while also making it his own.
And on short notice after reshoots! Great stuff!
I'm a musician myself and this is incredible. I'll never be this good.#huge Star Wars nerd
ОтветитьThe guy is only good at replicating Williams' style, but he fails to capture the magic. The music of Rogue One lacked any agency that previous Star Wars themes had.
ОтветитьDesplat's style of music is very "wall of sound" and "pretty sounding noise". Which is just like most other musical scores these days that try to mimic Hans Zimmer. Thats the score every other bland hollywood movie adopts because its whats "trending" these days.
Giacchino on the other hand is one of the few truly talented composers in Hollywood that is keeping MELODY alive in an industry where its dying. Thats why Giacchino should be the only rational choice after Williams.
I could spend hours to watch these. I need longer version :-)
ОтветитьThe movie was very good, but I was not impressed with the score at all. Did not capture the John Williams magic. I actually thought the music in the trailers and featurette was way better.
ОтветитьThe bad guy theme and landing the planet! :)
ОтветитьWhy is "her path is clear" not in the soundtrack?
ОтветитьHey did anybody notice the trombone player is one of the investigators on Hunting Hitler?! That guy is versatile! Tracking down Hitler and entertaining the galaxy at the same time! Awesome!
ОтветитьWho are the musicians doing the studio work? Free lancers or one of the local symphonies?
I've always loved film scores, they're what made me pursue a music performance degree!
I love this!
ОтветитьMeu Deus to muito impressionada
ОтветитьUtterly impressive behind the scenes footage, completely forgettable score.
ОтветитьHer path is clear is not on my cd. ?
ОтветитьMy dream is to be one of those horn players...
ОтветитьWow i believe Tim Simonec has conducted almost every Michael Giacchino score in film
ОтветитьEverything from tv ads, teaser trailers to the movie itself, the sounds and music have been phenomenal . Any new composer had a lot to live up to with mr Williams but also had to be brave to be different while maintaining the familiarity of the other , episodic soundtracks. For what my humble opinion is worth, they definite hit the back of the net with what they've done. Awesome!!!
ОтветитьThe music was 👌🏼
ОтветитьHOW DOES THIS NOT SOUND AT ALL LIKE JOHN WILLIAMS YET IT FITS SO PERFECTLY IN THE STAR WARS UNIVERSE
ОтветитьAnd where's the early Alexandre Desplat's score?
ОтветитьJohn Williams should composed the rouge one music
ОтветитьDumbest soundtrack ever for any of the Star Wars, RUINED THE WHOLE MOVIE, Nothing like John Williams. it's like he sampled and took snippets from John Williams and called it his own, Disney ruined it with this composer Giacchino, MORON
ОтветитьMike G.. Is a genius I loved his music when I first heard his music in the medal of honor game.
ОтветитьIs that The conductor like john williams did. Who that composer conducting the orchestra.
ОтветитьAnyone know what orchestra this is? They did a great job.
ОтветитьGreat score to a great movie
Ответитьwhy is there no chorus
ОтветитьRogue One is a masterpiece , my all time favorite Star Wars movie, it had everything I loved about Star Wars since I was a kid, felt like a dream come true watching it 🙌 That Darth Vader hallway scene was perfection! Michael Giacchino did a phenomenal job with the soundtrack. 🎶 🎧 👏
