I practically grew up in the first generation Honda Pilot. Glad to see they've kept the line moving forward logically, with the possible exception of last generation's styling.

Doug, just stop doing Honda reviews. Your bias is obvious. Honda makes all types of great things, if they wanted too they could make a insane off-roader.

I have a gen1 and its kind of a sleeper. They aren't slow. They are heavy. But they have a lot of power hidden is a pseudo-minivan body. The "TOW" and "SNOW" make sense as drive modes.

I'm very surprised that honda hasn't made a pilot that has a turbo or or twin-turbo or supercharged v6 or an v8 pilot with some of the higher trim levels that is turbo or supercharged

I think it's funny how these "reviewers" only say positive shit about amenities. They don't mention that the old J35 with the 6 speed automatic is better than this new J with the awful 10/11 speed. They either don't do their research, care about history, or are bought and paid for. They will never say anything is bad for fear of losing income.

New cars need to be cheaper, less tech and just reliable. I will rather buy a 20,000 dollare car for my family than something woth a cool design and led everything and a stupid tablet attached to the dash board.

Not a fan of the huge, flat visible hoods that seem to be a trend. Drove a new Grand Cherokee and it felt so much bigger than the prior version because of it. It reduces visibility immediately in front as well.

It isn't as plush or quiet as a mercedes or BMW? Get out of dodge :D cmon, Doug, that is what Acura exists for. This is a Honda, of course it doesn't have the features/plushness of a mercedes lol. Stretching for the rafters for drawbacks if you're comparing it to a mercedes.

I like Hondas but they can do a better job of integrating the display in the dash than what they have done.

I like how it looks longer and lower than the previous generation, just like the new RAV4 and Mazda3. Better for bike and pedestrian safety

I'll take the Pilot over any Hyundai or Kia any day of the week.

No USB C in the rear rows is honestly an issue for me. Most other cars have this.
