it was the final season and the Show had to end at some point. He was dismantling his criminal empire all season long. I would have liked the task force chase for red to have gone on a few more episodes. The first 8 seasons were about him and Elizabeth and he said he was sick, Then the last 2 seasons was a reboot with just Red. Absolutely loved when he came back for Dembe and shot Hudson. Not sure it he was the father to Elizabeth but sure acted like it.. Favorite episode by far is when he called in a tip on himself and used it to break his lawyer out of jail. Really looking for another series since this one has been take down to the 'foundation'. LOL!
ОтветитьJust watch S6 Ep19, “Rassvet.”
ОтветитьWhat a joke of a show. All of the actors hate guns, yet it’s one of the most fun violent shows of all time.
ОтветитьThe first few seasons of this show was amazing, but like a lot of shows it quickly lost the plot and went "out there". Didn't expect the ending to be the same either.
ОтветитьRR is Katarina Rostova.
Final clue and tease, Agnes in the finale telling him over the phone "you're such a mom".
i believe 100% raymond reddington is katarina rostova. U can see glance of elizabeth keen thought who is raymond when she was shoot. katarina rostova appear at glance the moment red touch liz and liz know real identity because dembe give her a letter before.
ОтветитьBut how would it be possible for Reddington to be Katarina Rostova if he has obviously the body of a man. Like literally every part of him is a HIM?
ОтветитьI think that Raymond Reddington was Elizabeth Keen mother. She went through extensive sex change surgery to change her into a man. That's my theory.
ОтветитьRaymond reddington it's just the real raymond reddington you didnt understand ? The bons was catarina rostova who no one knows she s death by reddington to portect liz but mr kaplan fucked everithing when she bring the bones back laedies and getlmens redington is reddington
ОтветитьRaymond Reddington cant be Keens relative since the DNA test(i think was done in the 1st episode but revealed much later) showed no similarities.
ОтветитьTatiana Petrova was the spy they tried to assassinate and, if the attempt on her life had been successful, Dom and Ilya would claim was N13, but it didn't work out. Tatiana's new husband was killed instead. Katerina disappeared and it was claimed due to her suicide. She actually got a sex change to become Raymond which suited her because she was a lesbian (something unheard of in those days). This enabled Katerina to live as a man in a mans world. When Tom and Liz and then Ressler kept digging around, the enemy started to think Katerina was in fact still alive which resurrected the Townsend Directive. Raymond new that if it got out he was actually a sex change Katerina, he would loose all credibility in his criminal empire as well as be killed. That is why he kept saying "there are some things that are mine alone and do not belong to anyone else". The conversations between the characters Raymond and Dom, Raymond and Tatiana, Raymond and Liz and Raymond and others all make much more sense from this point of view. In particular, the last conversation between Raymond and the fake Katerina (Taterina) where she says to Raymond 'I cannot imagine how it feels for you knowing you cannot kill me because of the love Liz has for her mother', referring to how Liz and everyone else thinks Tatiana is Katerina - Liz's mother. I must say, I jumped for joy when Raymond shot that Bitch Tatiana (masquarading as Katerina).
ОтветитьR.I.P. Red im gonna miss this show..just like i miss Monk.
ОтветитьRed is Katarina, go and watch episode 8 from season 4, when Alexander Kirk (Constantin Rostov) was dead set on killing Red and after Red said something Kirk was speechless and pulled out the needle from his neck. The only thing that Red could possibly have said to Kirk was that he is Katarina or something that only Katarina new and the fact that they do not show us what Red said is proof of that.
ОтветитьI think Raymond was Elizabeth's mother all along
ОтветитьRaymond was actually Katerina Rostova. It's so obvious, especially if you rewatch the series from the beginning.
ОтветитьRaymond was Katarina Rostova.
She became a man
The Blacklist awesome show well done everyone did a great job cast, crew, writers post Covid did very good ending with what they had at the time it seemed rushed but eh I enjoyed the last episode
ОтветитьI like the idea that he really is Reddington after all. I think it is actually poetic
ОтветитьReddington was Elizabeth's Mother!
ОтветитьThis is almost as bad as the end of games of thrones.
..almost.
ОтветитьI have enjoyed every Reddington scene. One of the best shows created.
ОтветитьI think Redington was, in fact, Katarina Rostova. I think they poetically decided to reveal it in the most simple yet heartwarming way: Agnes tells Red that he's "such a mother" and he said he can't help it.
Other reasons I find this to be the case is that when Liz is taken to the island every single important character is there in her "vision", and despite everyone having their own position around her, Katarina is shown where Red stands and they switch between them both repeatedly. In the end, Katarina is the only character that doesn't make a direct appearance, but we know that she cared about Liz yet despite everything she never appears, that's because she was always there, trying to be a protective mother and failing at the same time because she was what she was and couldn't help bring danger to her door.
Stopped after 8 seasons.
Show went to shit with all the annoying twists on who he is.
Put a chick in it and make her gay😂
ОтветитьI’m in the UK. TEN BLOODY YEARS of MY LIFE and they don’t tell us who Red really is!!! The ending was stupid too. I always said it should have ended at the end of session 6. Yes of course I enjoyed it up until then but after that, in my humble opinion, it didn’t hold up to the high standard it had set. But there you go, if James Spader is in stuff you have to watch it… the rest of the cast held it together well. Bring back BOSTON LEGAL. Do A one off Blacklist special, rehash the clues given to us and spill the beans!!! Who the hell was Red?? 😡😡
ОтветитьI stopped watching the show after Elizabeth died. I just knew nothing else in the show would match that moment in how beautiful it was.
Horrible character, terrible actress.
Red: "Elizabeth, I'll answer your questions after we stop the world from ending."
Elizabeth: "NO! I have a right to know! Getting my answers is more important!"
Rot in hell!
He is Elizabeth's mother
ОтветитьPoetic dead for a moribund man
ОтветитьI am okay with not knowing. I am joyful in knowing that thoughtfully crafted stories like this are still possible.
ОтветитьI think he is the real Reddington, and did survive the bullet from Elizabeth because everyone seems to forget about the burn scars on his back. So he is either the real deal or possibly KR after a lot of surgery, because they never said anyone else was present in the fire besides KR, Red, Elizabeth, and Illya. And they all had burn scars.
ОтветитьWhat spared Reddington from Alexander Kirk at gunpoint was Reddington whispering into Kirk's ear just before he (Reddington) was to be shot, strapped to a chair, telling Kirk to look closely at his face,. Yes he was Katerina Rostova, Kirk's former beloved wife. Kirk was shocked beyond belief and pulled his gun down. We never hear from Kirk again.
ОтветитьWhat a waste of time
ОтветитьThey should've given us confirmation, so lazy. I hate the Rederina theory but it seems like the most likely at this point unfortunately
ОтветитьYes it was the perfect ending
ОтветитьFake Raymond Reddington is Katarina Rostova hiding in plain sight. The surgical work done, Agnes asking him when he stopped being a Russian (as told by Liz Keen who read the letter), and finally Agnes telling Red over the phone that he sounds like a mom and Red replying "I can't help it".
ОтветитьI very much believe he is the real Raymond red Reddington and that he faked his own death to protect Elizabeth Keen and his family.
ОтветитьLiz Mother.
Sex changes
I believe he's James Spader.
ОтветитьThe simplest answer, potentially a copout, was giving very early on in the series. Raymond is a sin eater. That’s all. A sin eater incarnate.
ОтветитьJames Spader is Raymond Redington 😳 and he is still alive.
ОтветитьThis explains nothing
ОтветитьKatarina. Video done.
ОтветитьGreat show, horrible ending. We watched faithfully year after year only to never find out Raymond Reddington's idenity. We deserved better!!!
ОтветитьThe ending was just perfect for Reddingtons character and his wild nature. It reflects so much more than any other ending I could imagine. Yes, many questions are unanswered, but I kinda like this mystery kept for our imagination.
ОтветитьIf Raymond was not Katerina, then why, when the Russian intelligence officer informed Thousand, did he order Thousands to be directed to Raymond? What does this mean?
ОтветитьRaymond Reddington is and always will be James Spader. Also he's Katarina Rostova. Its kind of obvious. I'm also glad the writers never blatantly confirmed it, gives the fan base something to do. The clues are all there.
ОтветитьRay is the best type of Trans person the one that doesn't talk about it doesn't make it their whole life and doesn't abuse or harass people because of it.
Ответить
