Nobody understands the pain, hurt and abuse HER MOM WENT THROUGH! Do you know in the black community, especially in the hood DYSFUNCTIONAL IS NORMAL.
The mom is use to living in dysfunction and is ignorant. Not in a bad way, but some people do not know healthy coping mechanisms.
This is normal for some people. That’s when we do NOT JUDGE BUT ACT AS KARMO EDUCATE WITHOUT BELITTLING ANYONE!

I’m going to tell you what’s going on truthfully. She is disappointed in the daughter, because she is a daughter. Meaning: I wanted a son. The key words- toughen it up, get over it , too sensitive. She wanted a son that can give her more support, more clarity. Stop being lazy- this tells me she don’t want a daughter, bc it reminds her of herself. This happens to a lot of mothers, something that instills in you as a child. You pick up your mind once you choose a child gender. It shouldn’t matter. But she wanted a boy so she wouldn’t have to go through all of this nonsense that she thinks it is. This is something my mother does to my older sisters. She never had raised my sisters and call them sensitive. Me learning about women my age I learned WOMEN ARE JUST MORE SENSITIVE bc you’re emotionally intelligent. The mother right there was raised like a Tom girl, as you can see how she dressed.

It’s sad to see when people laugh during stuff like this bc it’s literally a trauma response. She definitely doesn’t think it’s funny , she just doesn’t know how to deal with it . I hope she’s doing better and healing

to be honest if my mom was 8 months pregnant with my "soon to be sibling" and I hear she got ran over. I dont care if i was not there Im still going to feel traumatized, I mean this mom has no regards for her daughters feelings what so ever! Yes she can say shes traumatized and stuck on the situation. Its ur mom ofc, and she got ran over while pregnant. The mom is sooo wrong. The thing is ive had a similar relationship with my mom. we only got physical 2 times though and she has put me through a lot.

Wow apparently the Mom needs to grow up. Why would you be so aggressive to your daughter it's not normal. They need to be in counseling so they can hash things out. You can tell the daughter is hurting deeply.

It’s a generational curse but it can end . I always want to know how are the mothers being raised to make them think it’s okay . They look like sisters or friends . I don’t see mother and daughter at all. They don’t respect eachother at all and it’s disgusting. I wouldn’t dare hit my mother and my mother wouldn’t hit me . This what happen when you don’t raise your children correctly. She doing what she see and mom doing what she see .

Mom needs intense therapy. I have a daughter that shuts down and it gets frustrating but I let her be. Shes 14 and very sensitive but baby I just love all over my girl. I never heard I love you, im proud of you, thank you for paying bills at 16 and taking care of your siblings from 16 up. Im 39 and spiraling.

A lot of these mothers are passing down the aggression their mother has for them thinking she’s supposed to ignore it and move on. Her daughter being emotional isn’t bad that’s a good sign that she cares what you think and she just wants to communicate in a healthy way.

The black mother and daughter dynamic always brings me to tears because I feel so much for these young women and I learn so much about our black mothers. The older I get the more I understand from both perspectives and it gives me so much more respect and love for these women.

Trauma to mother & daughter.

The mother can’t say whatever and think the child can’t speak back cause even in the Bible it say for the parents to respect their kids and not to temp them but her saying her mother does the same to her is an EXACT reason why she treats her daughter like that. Her mother sucked but if she knows she doesn’t like it when her own mother does it why would you continue the cycle.

I love shows like this bc. As a learning parent in this world. It's is very hard to stay on a perfect line. Shows like this help me continue to analyze myself as a mother and helps me see new perspectives. And ways to handle things that we just simply come across but don't have guidance for it ....
