Dark vs Maru is the best StarCraft 2 finals I've ever seen.

Not sure how Dark vs Maru GSL Finals exceeded expectations but here we are!! Proud of this cast as well, put extra effort into following the action (in the mid/late game) and think it went well.

He may have scanned anyways and waited until the end to throw anti armor while getting his army biled to death but... HE BUILT A RAVEN! I wonder why they don't do that more often. Same thing happens when I try to mess with it 😅

Just an observation, but once t gets 4 plus medivacts z cant defend, why not add some sort of anti air faster to stop the medidrops? Ive seen other z players use anti air effectively against the t drops

I really wish they would let people in these pro leagues at least do a soft version of the military sevice to not disable their careers too much :)

Oh the irony that Maru invents a build, uses it in MULTIPLE tournaments in 2022 (most notable - Dreamhack Atlanta), ByuN copies the build 3 times in a row in Katowice 2023, Artosis sees it for the first time and thus just casually starts referring to it 'the ByuN build', and so the entire world starts erroneously referring to it as such. So much so that when Maru today does HIS OWN BUILD that He invented , some casters absurdly say: "oh look, Maru's doing the 'byun' build" 😂 • in reality the build is no more Byun's than curries are British. It's Maru's opener, it's Maru's build.

Hey look you have a hydrolisc? Marines. Hey you have air units? Marines. Look marines getting swarmed? Medivac. Oh need to be stealthy? Just drop marines on the mineral mines.

Why does it feel like Terrian have zero weakness? Beginner marines just carry every game.

Maru put an end to the question "Which race has the best late game composition". Its terran. Ghost +lib+thor beats anything

I'm a huge Dark fan, but everytime when I see him against Maru in a super late game, Maru always prevails and his ghosts are doing those little things that change everything. This makes me bit of tired, I even stopped watching SC2 for the last few months. Indeed the games were incredible but I see always the same scenario - Dark takes control over the map, Maru is tactical and deffensive, barelly geting out of his 3 bases, meanwhile Dark sucks all the resourses on the map, pushes Maru back to his base and in the end Maru takes the only last free remained expand with minerals. The only time when it really mattered for Dark was in 2019 on Blizzcon when he become later a world champion. But in the rest of their matches this gets me a bit tired. Still GG.

The terrans benefit tremendously in terms of resources.
Thanks to MULE, I spend less resources on SCV and only have 1 type of mechanic shield-up, so there is a lot of resource benefit
Blizzard have to block the Battle Cruiser for 5 seconds from using the Yamato Cannon and Tactical Jump
LIBERATOR & Ghost Sniper so OOOOOOPPPPPP.
On the other hand, Protoss & Zerg need to invest more in ground and air defense upgrades respectively
Even Zerg & Protoss' defense towers cannot recover resources, but Terran has another resource benefit with the bunker recovery function
In terms of resources, Protoss & Zerg are at a huge disadvantage overall
The zerg is still garbage
INFESTOR skill Deleted but Ghost skill always non Deleted!!!!WTH!
Zerg units are expensive to upgrade and take a long time to complete
The tech building is also expensive, but you have to invest 50 more minerals called drones there and pay 50 minerals again to produce the lost drone

Are the zerg a cheap tribe? Fukshieeeeet. Zerg most expensive and inefficient tribe
Zerg adds minerals and gas when transforming units
No race is more expensive than the Zerg
One last thing on my mind.
Terran Cyclone & Battle Cruiser can auto-attack
Protoss Phoenix & Carrier can auto-attack
Zerg have no such units
Blizzard needs to patch these issues quickly

broodlords? ghosts. ultras? ghost. infestors/Viper? also ghosts work well :/

please remove snipe from armored targets or move EMP to ravens
