So excited for this! I read the "The Long Loneliness" a couple of years ago, and greatly enjoyed it in a very world view challenging way; Dorothy Day seemed like such an incredible follower of Jesus in general.

I couldn’t do the read along, but got the book and read it. Finished it yesterday. Pretty good. Insisting upon poverty was a bit much, but I enjoyed all the good works mentioned.

Hi Emma! I am a Catholic mum of 2 littles (3 and 1) and would like to live liturgical seasons and holidays more intentionally. I am divided between 3 books that I think could help: 1) The Catholic Home: Celebrations and Traditions for Holidays, Feast Days, and Every Day by Meredith Gould; 2) The Catholic All Year Compendium: Liturgical Living for Real Life by Kendra Tierney; and 3) Living the Seasons: Simple Ways to Celebrate the Beauty of Your Faith throughout the Year by Erica Tighe Campbell.
