I wasn’t expecting this scene. I was literally a blubbering mess.

I love Agatha, she inspires me to be comfortable with witches. As a cat in Chinese astrology I should be myself and cats apparently are associated with witches. Agatha thank you for showing me that staying with the right people is better than being around people trying to ridicule me .

No one talks about Gregor! He literally died and no one cared. Agatha was shown that she was a real princess, the wish fish was freed, Dovey found faith in Aggie but Gregor is still gone.

Its so twisted that the failed students are transformed into things that would serve the other students for their selfish needs on getting that happy ending, the poor parents and kids not being able to see each other ever again till death.

I haven't read the book but I don't like Agatha, she's constantly pushy and trying to go against her friend's wish

I'm still disappointed that there's no hobgoblin scene where hort forgot the rules

After a long time I also watched the movie dubbed in my mother tongue Tamil. It's very nice. I really like Sofia Wylie who played Agatha in this movie.

This scene when Agatha wish is To Home ,For all of Us is so touching How he save the girl since hundred years she failed ,A Hundred years for granted wishes to free Home ,Truly Destiny to be a Princess but Born to be a Queen Agatha 🥰🥺♥️

The fact that the good school also lacked goodness sometimes while the evil school too at the end wants to be good(cloth as reference) , therefore there is no such thing as good and evil while a person can be both

guess they need to change the curriculum now

I wouldn’t say all of the other students are artificially good. I would say compared to Agatha a lot of them have been trained to think looking good means GOOD but there are other girls who are like Agatha but don’t know it yet like Kiko. I really hope she gets more screen time in later films 🥰🥲💖🌸

Everyone else has talked about Agatha, but can we appreciate the teacher for a second? She’s dealt with shallow, beauty-obsessed girls for years and suddenly she’s faced with this? The look on her face after the fish’s transformation is brilliant.

Absolutely adored the movie, can't wait to start the books. I admire the layers they've managed to put on the characters and the overall imagery as well message. It covers the detriment of boxes and labels, the greyness of humans, empathy and selflessness a lost value that defines goodness, true love does not always have to be a typical man and woman happily ever after sort, and breaking the fairytale stigma of a prince rescuing a princess in distress but princesses being able handle themselves. Just... speechless.

Wow...they completely and Utterly botched this scene. Did the directors even read the books?
In the wish, fish could only grant small wishes and turn into the object of the wish as they are pulled out of the water. Thus granting the wish. All the Girls had a wish and they all wished for Matrilisc things. New dresses, make-up, crowns, jewellery etc. The teacher even wished for a new suitcase.

There was only enough fish for one wish for each girl in the class, the teacher when realising that Agatha hadn't made a wish put her suitcase back, thus giving up her wish. In the book, she was very upset that she had to give her wish to Agatha. Agatha reached in and used her wish to restore the fish to their human form and it turned into a young boy...not a girl. Additionally, the boy didn't die or disintegrate, he was confused as was everyone else. Before anything could be done, every animal in the garden, birds, bees small critters all swam Agatha and chased her throughout the school wanting her to set them free too.

Other teachers and fairies had to get involved to subdue the crazed animals. After a brief meeting with the headmaster and her teacher Agatha asked about the boy and both said that he was delt with and placed in the boys' classes. However, Agatha later learned from Tedors that no new boy had joined their classes and he had overheard the teaches talking about correcting a mistake made in Agathas class. Impaling the teachers had killed the freed boy or turned him back to an animal servent.

I have never seen the movie before and I instantly could recognise the characters. As soon as I saw kiko I was like "wait is that kiko?"

Agatha didn’t mean for that too happen but it was so thoughtful😊❤

as Shakespeare wisely said - "All that glisters is not gold" - the "good" "beautiful" people may glister & glitter - does not make them GOOD - Agatha GIVES her wish away showing true character & beauty - inside and out (& yes it is "glisters" - often misquoted as glitters)
