Is there a connection between the Mormon church and ancient aliens?

God is always leading us into truth, if we are seeking it. He is a gracious Father.

I don’t know how to feel about this, I’m a former Mormon as well; stopped going to church at 14. But one the thing that sticks with me and still do today is play those hymns. Those songs and what they say and power that can be felt when singing them in church or just alone. (They also make great sight reading practice for piano)

Also remembering the community that church brings together. I miss it some days and think I should I attend once and awhile not practice diligently but to find that community or see what they preach still makes sense.

But when I get asked what do I believe in or do follow any religion and I say not sure anymore, but I was a Mormon at one time, they give weird looks and part me now wants figure out why that is, because at that young of an age when I was a Mormon I didn’t feel like anything weird or controversial/wrong. So these type of videos help a lot to see why so many people give me weird looks when I tell them “I’m a former Mormon” and also give that objective view of history I’m looking for. I wonder how he feels about all of the missionary wor he did to get people to join the church just to leave it. Did he contact everybody he taught to them he was wrong?

I myself am a member of the church & am so grateful for missionaries cause if it wasnt for there work me andmy son wouldnt be apart of this church.

Incredible video. Could you create a video breaking down the Book of Mormon? I still think it is so incredible how Joseph Smith conceptualized the entire thing. Where do you think a lot of these stories came from? They seem to be so intricate and thought-out.

When i first saw Johnny and Iz drink coffee years ago, I was wondering what had happened to their Mormon faith.
Now we're finding out.
What a brilliant storyteller Johnny is.

It is really sad that you feel so hurt by a religion that you feel like you have to lash out and try to convince others to be against it. I truly do feel sorry for you and your future. Hope you can find something that makes you happy other than trying to tear others down.

It's very similar to Islam, but more white and with less violence.

Black people are those people. Never been to Africa. Never had a family member come from Africa and most blacks can’t say they have ANY connection to Africa or their people. Not a single great grandparent, uncle, cousin nothing. I’m personally part of the Ponkapoag tribe in Massachusetts. Still looking on my mom’s side. Native American only means you were born here it doesn’t mean you’ve ALWAYS been here in America. Indigenous has no other home but where you find them. I hear the Mormons hide OUR secrets. Funny thing about The Age of Aquarius is it’s the age where all secrets are revealed. Guess what we are in or approaching? 🧐

Joseph Smith was a fraud. The Mormon church is very racist. I have first hand experience with a racist Mormon in Vernal Utah. I told him how beautiful Vernal is and my mouth dropped when he told me that they didn't want my type (I'm assuming it's because I'm Hispanic) there. I am a disabled combat veteran and just retired from a large police department. Who do these people think they are telling people where they can live. I don't want to live in Utah. Not now at least. Racist, polygamy, and this story sounds insane.

Wheres part 2?

I was invited in a Mormon gathering and was given a book of Mormon. I give it a try coz it was a friend who invited and was curious. I thought it was like a Bible study, that we will still read a Bible, that your teachings will be base on the Bible but when I read that book John smith who the hell is he? He was not written or in the Bible. They claimed it was a different version from the Bible but in the point of view of the apostles

Did the part 2 come out?

Funny how jesus told Joseph smith to start a church that has been lost time when according to the bible, while jesus viewed the Christian church as "This is my father's house", and went to church as a kid because that's what his earthly parents did, Jesus wasn’t a pastor, he was the son of God, and did most if not all of his miracles outside of the church walls, so why would jesus say "start a church that has been lost to time", and not "follow me". The church is not the building, its the community, and Jesus made that very clear with his actions in the Bible. It’s about having a relationship with Jesus Christ, not attending church.

Good summaries, graphics, and overall generally fair, though I come to different conclusions. I recognize the humanity of the prophet, which, admittedly, the church and members have a tenancy to overlook. Instead of driving me further away though, I'm more convinced of the truths contained within Mormonism and can appreciate the good works done by the church and its members because of their beliefs, despite human imperfections.
