Their service is super nice -- I'm talking about people running up and down for you with measurements like you're at the cutters. They even offer a black credit card, they got freakin gourmet food... That should probably explain everything you need to know. Don't forget that tinroof ice-cream everybody raving about. It's just ice-cream to me, but it's straight up cream and air, none of this emulsifier stuff and creamer and so forth.

As a Muslim some"Woolies"have a Halal section which is something you don't see In other food markets in South Africa.

Woolies has high quality stuff. That's it. Oh and desserts, great desserts. And fruit. Super fresh fruit. And the deli is pretty awesome too. You do pay for that quality but nobody seems to mind
