Yields are likely too good. They would have to cut perfectly good 6-cores down to quadcores, which isn't worth it, if everything already sells at higher price points.
Ответитьi'll wait until the ddr5 APUs launch to see how much performace we will gain on the APUs,maybe they will overtake even more the low end graphics segment
ОтветитьThese are all the new Klaus Schwab "have nots" will be able to afford in the coming years. Let's hope the Navi revamp gets us decent 1080p/30+ on mainstream titles.
Ответитьryzen out lasted my relationship. sheesh.
ОтветитьLove your channel bro!!
ОтветитьGreat video! 👌

Love ya Brett just pointing it out
People buy the 3400g for the gpu cores and manually tune them
ОтветитьI mean AMD did release the Ryzen 7 5700G and Ryzen 7 5700GE their first 8 core 16 thread desktop APUs ealier this year along with the Ryzen 5 5600G and Ryzen 5 5600GE being their 6 core 12 thread lower end APUs and they aren't OEM only.
ОтветитьWhat does 720p FSR look like? It must be terrible.
ОтветитьGood job. Wish they would move from vega graphics or unleash them more if they must stay with them!
ОтветитьThe 5300g is the same chip as the 5600g & 5800g. If yields are good AMD would rather sell the more expensive models.
Plain and simple. Why selling the same die for $150 when you can make $350?
I seen used 4650g the same price as the 3400g on ebay
ОтветитьI would love to make a 5300g for my dad's first ever computer, but will most likely get a 5600g. He won't ever need a real GPU. Bet the 5600 would last him the rest of his life.
ОтветитьThe lord himself sent amd to the rescue
ОтветитьDevelopment of the PS5, XBox AMD APU's must have given them a big advantage in the market.
Ответитьi don't remember what exactly Jason said, but he talked about why it's so confusing with AMD
ОтветитьIt's pretty basic each one of these dies sells for more as a laptop die. Last thing they want to do is offer this to the market and build a demand that they have supply with chips that could sell for more as a laptop chip.
Ответитьyou forgot the 5600g and 5700g but thank you for the info
ОтветитьWelcome to Pa. Im from Philadelphia. Hope all is well and keep making that content. I am currently building a budget homelab server on a Ryzen 5 3600.
Ответитьno far ànd longer intel: far away long time no see any things:
ОтветитьThey made APUs before Ryzen, they were the "A" series. I built an A10 around 2015 and was quite surprised at the performance.
ОтветитьI started out with the 2400g on my first PC build back in 2019, used it without a GPU for a month as a stopgap, then got an RX 570 8GB card, this was just before the pandemic. I've already upgraded to a R5 3600 so I'm probably going to either sell the 2400G or build an HTPC around it to replace the PS4 as my streaming box.
ОтветитьIf im gonna go an APU im going to get a Ryzen 7 5700G it's literally nearly the same speed as my 5800x on benchmarks, my only real gripe with the 5700G is that it's PCI Express 3.0, which is honestly probably why it slightly loses to a 5800X and why AMD kept it at PCI Express 3
ОтветитьHave a 2400g build never game on it but glad it could be a back up if mt 2060 super dies
ОтветитьHello i am looking for good gaming pc araound 800$ cuz my old pc is amd athalom 5000 with gt 210 and i just have rn 400-450$. i am looking for intel i3 10105f with rx 570 4gb and some cheap motherboard and other components but i am yust 13 year old kid and i want to buy pc with my money but bigest problem in my country in europa everiting is soo expenisive mybe i am gonna get it at 12 month probabley,,,,,,,,,,,, my englishe is bad,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
ОтветитьCurious why you don't include the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics - AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 8-Core, 16-Thread Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics in this review as well?
Ответитьi love the comparison..
ОтветитьPre 2021 = buyable, 2021 = not buyable
ОтветитьOEM ask for APUs more than anything else now with the discrete GPUs so expensive.
ОтветитьI gotta tell you, I still have a A10-6800K black edition with 16gb of DDR3-3200 and except for the obsolete 8600 series graphics it rocks pretty well with a RX560. I retired it in 2015 but just put it in a system for a friend with the A10-6800K, 16gb ddr3-3200, RX 560, 512gb Intel SATA drive and it plays all his games just fine, replacing his 10 year old I5-2400, 8gb, gtx530, 5400rpm sata drive.
IMHO the A10-6800K still holds up well against my Ryzen 3200G.
Oh, all the various schemes AMD, NVIDIA, and Intel use to stick it's customers with bullshit and milk it. THERES A STOCK SHORTAGE THEREFORE WE HAVE TO CHARGE MORE.... Nvidia and AMD posts annual sales report MORE GPUs than ever before by order of magnitude
ОтветитьPeople sleep on Ryzen apu's. I was rocking a 3200g with 1 4g stick of ram on an a320m(before I got into building computers) playing WoW everything on high quality at 1080p. No studdering at all
ОтветитьSomething really important about the Ryzen 2xxxG is that being a Ryzen 1000 series, is not compatible with Windows 11 (at least right now), so not recommended to buy for a new machine, unless you're a Windows 10 die hard and don't want to upgrade, or if you're a Linux user.
ОтветитьCould this be related to yield?
ОтветитьWhat about ryzen 5 4650g pro?
ОтветитьYou are 🤗🤗😘
ОтветитьMaybe amd ryzen community wants to sell them directly because they know that if they sell the chips to cosumers, they'll sell these things higher than it cost's, maybe there's a relation ship between them and a selling market that is more official, it can be because of people as well!
ОтветитьMy local PC hardware store only list the Zen 3 APUs as available from their supliers. The older Zen APUs are listed as might be in stock at their supliers later this year, but I doubt it. The 5600G seems to be priced $110 more expensive than the 3400G in my country.
ОтветитьWhy does this video have so less views
ОтветитьI'm real real real cheap and I mostly do ham radio and I run a pair of Xeon X5650 you can put up for under $20.00 USD and have 12 core 24 thread at 2.66Ghz and all core Turbo to 3.01Ghz and Hyper threading ya it has no APU but with a Cheap GPU but this system is not for Gaming it's for running all my Ham Radios and Software and it's Cheap so I can Spend more on Ham Radio like My Icoms ic-7300 and ic-9700 and ic-705 and Remote into them and Run all my 8 SDR Rx Radios and I Remote into them with a Cheap Chuwi Hi10x Windows Tablet but I'm Looking at getting Something for Desktop to do Gaming with so this was Great thanks for the Great Video Keep them coming. But Still I'm waiting for the Price to come down on some of these Chips and systems before I go Dumping Tons of Cash
Ответить2400g/3400g are the only one with vega 11 tho
ОтветитьI just checked the prices, they're still within $30 of what you said they were years ago now.
Ответитьthis type of charts is actually very easy to read
ОтветитьThx for this a b450m mortar max and 2400G is goin for $99 in my country
Might get this as stopgap before buying ryzen7000/8000G or even arrowlake nxtyear
Not gonna do highend gaming anyways
Had enough with space hogging atx pc
i still sadly use the 3400g
Ответитьpretty high prices for these cpus
ОтветитьNgl, my 3400G is still slayin at 2024
I play valorant tournament in our college esports fest and with no dedicated gpu, my apu is pushin my fps to 190 fps, just pair it with a high frequency ram and your good to go. What a beast.
