The "Hidden" Vulvar Psoriasis: When Scales Shun the Spotlight?
Vulvar psoriasis often presents atypically compared to psoriasis elsewhere on the body. Instead of classic silvery scales, it tends to be well-demarcated, erythematous (red), moist, and non-scaly plaques due to the occlusive and moist environment of the vulva. This is often termed "inverse psoriasis".
