Ludi short correction from a Greek sub. Dorians who later formed Sparta originated from northern-northwestern Greece. So basically Epirus, Macedonia, Illyria etc. Migration trigerred due to lack of resources and weather conditions. Great video though! Keep up the good work mate! It's always nice to learn from the games we spend hours playing!

Nice review, Ludi. Seems like an interesting mod.
One correction though: the Spartans were Dorians indeed but they didn't come from Crete. The Dorians were the descentants of Hercules, the Heracledeis, who, after being driven out from Argos they found refugee in Macedonia. (Yes the MACEDONIANS WERE DORIAN GREEKS as well, as were the Spartans with whom their language was connected). Then, a few centuries lates (probably 200-250 years), at around 1180 BC., during the Invasions of the Sea People, when the Acheans participated in those invsasions (hence the 10 years of campaigns during the Trojan War and the campaigns of the Acheans, like Ulysees, Teukros-in Cyprus- etc. after it) the Dorians found the opportunity to invade Southern Greece. They were defeated in Attica (so Athenians remained Ionians) but managed to occupy and settle in a big part of the Peloponnese, especially the south (Corinth, Argos, Sparta and Messinia). (It's funny that Sparta's greatest enemies, with which they fought all the time, were actually not Athens but the Dorians of Argos and Messinia). From there they invaded Crete, occupying most of the former Achean cities (but not others, like Cydonia, modern Chania), and also colonized some Cycladic islands like Milos (see the destruction of Milos by Athens during the Peloponnesean War), the Dodecanese and some places in the nearby Asia Minor coast. Another fun fact is that the Dorians settled and colonized the south, in Greece but also the islands and the western Asia Minor coast (they lived in the Peloponnese, the Cyclads, Crete, the Dodecanese, and Doris in south Western Asia Minor), the Ionians did the same in the middle (Attica and Euboia in mainland Greece, Chios and Samos islands, Ionia in central Western Asia Minor) and the Aeolians in the north (Thessally in Greece, Lesbos island, Aeolis in north Western Asia Minor)!They moved and lived in their preferred geographical latitude!
