Leading Digitalisation and Innovation in the Hydraulics Products Industry at HAWE

Digitization and innovation is a big topic in hydraulics product industry. In more than 80 application sectors, customers rely on HAWE as a competent consultant in related fields and as a specialist in the core competence of hydraulics. HAWE can only meet this claim in partnership and together with customers, development partners and employees worldwide.

Hydraulics, controlled by pressure, are part of technical engineering-based solutions for many global technological challenges we face. HAWE products offer quick response times and with quick betimes, with a focus on legal requirements for exhaust and CO2 emissions. Sustainability and trust is a high priority.

HAWE is working to increase the amount of electronics in the product range, together with integrated sensors and future AI functions. This will enable complete electrification projects and even customer-specific machines. Already now, with the lean production system and a high degree of vertical integration HAWE is able to produce the components in the short times. Many products are designed for digitalization applications, eg. a smart application factory use. Sensors, for oil temperature, oil level, speed and oil quality are often built in and directly connected to the user machine.

Next challenges will include providing products which are compact, small, lightweight and perfectly matched for this need of mobile and electrically driven machines.
